Opiates+Cigs=nausea?

Does anyone know why when on opiates smoking tends to cause nausea. or is it just me?

opiates can cause nausea, cigs also can cause nausea, the combined effect can make you feel sick even if the individual amount of each one wouldn't be enough to make you sick on its own.

For me I only get it if I smoke a lot of cigs in too short a period of time. like if I smoke 4 in an hour(might not be that much for pack+ day smokers but I only usually smoke a few cigs every couple days but when I am high on opiates I smoke a lot in that time period, but like I said 4 an hour or more I get sick so I keep it to a cig every 20-30 min while high

Yeah, it just sucks lol. Buzzin so ya smoke you puke cause ya smoked you want another cig cause you just threw up. atleast thats how my mind works

The longer you do opiates for, the less you feel nauseous. When I first started shooting dope it would make me puke all the time but eventually that stopped. After a couple years of daily use I quit. Now for the past few years I only chip once in awhile and although I have a very low tolerance I never feel nauseous even when I get really high and its been several months. I really wonder why I don't even feel a hint of nausea anymore when I used to fucking projectile vomit off of strong opiates.

Its been reverse for me actualy. never really used to but it seems like i have more lately. Depending on what. Especialy morphine

I lost a lot of weight because of how much i'd throw up while doing pain pills. It never happened at the begining but I also wasn't taking as much as I ended up taking towards the end. But yeah, i'd sit and chain smoke while high on opiates and sure enough i'd throw up, then need another smoke cause I just threw up.
