Hey Guys,
Opiates make peeing a bit weird--- what is the reason/mechanism behind this? I have heard that oxycodone can cause "water retention", and wanted to ask if anyone has had this symptom...
I am 27/M, 200lbs-- I feel like I am reasonably healthy... I can do cardio for an hour, been lifting some weights lately... but I have a problem; oxycodone addiction for almost 3 years now. Right now, my use is very high--- 500mg-600mg a day or so sniffed roxie 30s... Ya I know how bad that is, but what do you guys think about this?
My legs/ankle dont appear swollen at all, but a doctor touched my legs and said I have a very slight edema... water in my legs... I have an office job and sit all day, which I hear sometimes causes this. It is almost unnoticeable, but if you push really hard in certain areas of my leg, it is slightly indented for a moment before it comes back. Not all areas, but some. They said it was a very minor case.
Some major causes of concern for edema are congestive heart failure, kidney disease, liver disease, etc.... or just heart problems in general. Then there are idiotpathic causes like sitting too much, not taking care of your health, and just a fluke. I am pretty young, but wondering if this can be caused by excessive oxycodone use. I read it as a rare side effect somewhere, but i use so much maybe that is the reason I am retaining water. Whazt do you all think? I know your not doctors necessariuy, but maybe you know of someone this happened too after excessive oxycodone use.
