Living in Toronto, and furthermore in Chinatown, I am often intrigued by some of the things I see around the chinese medicine stores. Well today I ventured inside. There's 1000's of herbs, fungi, bugs, things I have no idea what they are. Things that don't have english names. They have teas, pills, and medicine for everything, but not much english to be found, and the english you do find is poorly translated, (I actually saw "happy pills" today).
Im skeptical in the first place about "snake oil" type medicine and so-called voodoo pharmacology, but hey, you never know. Im sure someone on here is Chinese and at least has some sort of idea if anything is there is worth knowing about in a Bluelight sort of way.
