Opiates and Puking

A few nights ago I was with one of my friends and he was nodding. He kept getting nauseous, but instead of just waiting for it to pass, he would make himself puke. I was pretty grossed out and disturbed by this. Is this normal behavior?

No that is not normal behavior by any stretch of the imagination. I have never seen someone make themselves vomit because they didn't want to deal with the mild sickness that sometimes comes with the whole project.

That's not weird. Sometimes when I feel real sick, i wish i could just puke and get the sickness over with.

Is it normal... well in my book its not but if he feels that puking is better than coping with nausea then it wouldn't be normal to not do it. I think most would agree that puking is one of the best cures for nausea (obviously)

Either way why do you care? Unless he's puking on you or your stuff it shouldn't matter.

I do it sometimes. The only thing that has made me nauseous lately is Opana, and it's much more pleasant to just barf and get it over with.

i have always alwys made myslef throw up if i feel sick i can not stand to feel sick especially when i do opiates so in my book this is completly normal.

Gross! I'd be seriously disturbed by that, but bulimics do it all the time.

When I feel nauseous on opiates I always wish I could just puke so that my high would increase. It feels like it does because all that nausea holds back the high. I never make myself puke though.
