So some background - i am a musician who has used all types of drugs in various ammounts throughout my life - literally since i was 6 i have been prescribed amphetamines and benzos, my entire life has been spent attempting to achieve chemycal balance. For the last three years or so, since a flood dose of ibogaine i successfully kicked a large heroin habit, but have dabbled the entire time since. I have had several situations where due to the needs of my career ive had to go beyond the physical pall - do some things i knew weren't altogether advisable to continue on. To whit - drinking heavily to perform after multiple nights in order to lubricate and release vocal chords, opiates(mainly 30mg oxy pills taken one at a time to avoid tolerance/dependance) to kill the pain, and psychedelics for energy - a few times i have done this in succession and used low dose iboga to avoid habits, however, the last time I recieved a clear message from iboga "im tolerant, but bitch you're pushin it" basically tying in to something a friend had told me about a patient they had(he's an iboga worker) for whom, after four or five floods iboga no longer works. What i noticed was some sort of terminal point after 6 - 7 months off and on use where i just seem so saturated it no longer works much, kindof like eating L repeatedly for weeks - sure ur in acid space but you no longer notice. At any rate, i did not procure any more ibo because of this intuition. So fast forward to months, i look around and realize "o shit, uv gotten a lot done, but you HAAAAVe been shootin a little, takin 30 -60mg oxy a day, occasional methadones and drinking like a fish... hmmmm" i knew something had to be done. I played my last show, ate my last oxy and prepared, now i always have black seed oil around, which is amazing at potentiating opiates and relieving lung issues(A MUST GET FOR ANY OPIOID CONSUMER)and also has some effect relieving withdrawals, some good bud, no ibo, but this time i bought some bali kratom. After a month of use i expected to need like 10g at a time, ive been getting a long fine the last few days with energy at 4 - 5g. I feel this material will be extremely easy to taper as it has almost NO moreish sensation and a ceiling dose kinda like suboxone - ie anything past 10g kratom makes me sick as fuck. Anyhow - i just wanted to report some of these findings. It's been a struggle my whole life but im convinced 90% of the suffering associated with habits/getting rid of them can be corrected through judicious use of amazing medicines - the best of which i've found are - Iboga(i just use rootbark, .5 g a day keeps my blues in my guitar :), rhodiala(specifically the adrenal health formula), black seed oil and kratom. Correct use of these materials can offer almost complete relief of withdrawal and are easily obtainable. Thanx for your time.

Agree completely on the Kratom

I wanted to comment because I know the Hell of opiate withdrawal's and how much use is simply to avoid that hell. I have been through this hell several times due to a recreational OC habit of 80-120mg / day and then a series of surgeries which at the end of I was prescribed 3 80 mg OC/ day. BTW if you have had to use for serious pain these are a lifesaver but also not fun. I switched to Suboxone and was on 8mg/ day for about a year and a half and decided to quit it all. I had some Kratom from a time back and decided to try it to mitigate DT and it all but completely prevented it. After about a week I stopped taking Kratom completely and felt a little WD a few sweats and a bit of agitation but NOTHING like I had with subutex and certainly not even close to OC or Norco W/D. In my opinion it is more effective than anything modern medicine has come up with. It also killed a large portion of the residual chronic pain erasing a constant excuse not to stop. I'm now over 45 days out and loving seeing my own eyes in the mirror each morning.

Here is the dosage I used

Day 1
1 gram Kratom 4 x
Day 2
1 gram Kratom 4x
Day 3
1 Gram Kratom 4x
Day 4
1 gram kratom 3x
Day 5
.75 gram Kratom 3x
Day 6
1 gram Kratom 2x
Day 7
1 gram Kratom 2x
Day 8
Nothing..... There will be some desires, you could taper further (I ran out and decided not to purchase more) but resist I promise the horrible WD does not come like it would have otherwise. All the synthetic opiates are out of your system and In my opinion (based soley on how it felt and not on science) your body has been producing the Opiate replaced neuro transmitters for a week already while the Kratom has occupied your opioid receptors preventing you from feeling the loss in the form of WD. Something that does not occur with Buprenorphine or other (fun) opiates. I surmise that if you were transitioning from Oxycodone the urge to use would probably be higher as you were still getting "high" while I was not on the Subutex, but I am sure you can tweak the regiment I used to great effect and perhaps the ibogaine would be of great use here as was mentioned. I would add a little Imodium to the regiment if I had to do it again and I might add L-tyrosine or benadryl but these are not necessary.

I will note that I did use MDPV during this time and that does act on dopamine as well and may have contributed to my ease of detox. But this also proves that the WD was minimal if I was willing to take something that would keep me up when normally Id be popping benzos like crazy praying for the relief that sleep brought.
