Opioids opiates after methadone?

Hi all. I've been dabbling in opiates for a while and have a decent tolerance. I've been taking methadone fairly regularly for about 2 weeks. i'd take an average of 35-45mg every other day. im now out of dones :( and all i could fish up was a 15mg roxy. in past experiences after using dones i've noticed a HUGE decrease in effects of other opiates for up to a few days after i dosed with the dones. from what i've researched i found that dones do have a "blocking effect" but usually only found in higher doses (60mg+). its been 48 hours since my last dose of 40mg of dones. would the 15mg of roxy still work or would the dones have a blocking effect? if so how long would this blocking effect last? thx guys!!!
 
15 mg won't do much 48 hrs after, methadone has an extremely long half-life, and it WILL still block at lower doses, just doesn't take quite as much to push through.

I'd wait minimum 72 hrs. To get a decent buzz, but since you've been taking done for a couple weeks your tolerance is very high.
 
@OP, Did you feel any withdrawal effects after taking dones for two weeks in a row?

Edit: That really sounded like a stupid question i guess.
 
No, sounds like a legit question to me...the OP didnt say anything about withdrawals and using the oxy15 to help them so I wondered also.

OP, yes the methadone has a FULL blocking effect at the higher dose but it will still decrease the effects of any other opiates/opioids you take while taking it like you have been. Since it does have a super long half life I have to agree with the others above that you will not feel anything from the oxy. If you normally take that much methadone anyways I would be surprised if 15mgs of oxy would be enough for you to feel much anyways just due to tolerance. How much oxy do you normally take to feel it?
 
Thats a dangerous combo. the dones are in the receptors and you want to feel the floaty high so you take more Oxy and end up ODing. Have you ever seen Trainspotting. That is exactly what happend to Renton. After a dose of dones even a normal hit of other opiods could be too much. waiting is a good idea but if we were good at self control we wouldn't be very good addicts.
