Okay, so I've been using morphine 3-6 times a week for almost 3months or so now. The last time I used was last Wednesday morning, and this is what's been going on...

I had a serious runny nose and sneezing about 24 hours after last dose, accompanied by feeling like I just had a severe flue or cold. For the first 2 or 3 days I felt fairly dizzy and would almost feel like I was ready to faint everytime I srood up. Also I feel this weird pressure/ sensation in my nose. I've had brutal diahrea (pissing out of my ass) for a few days now and have had mild nausea that sparks up and literally lasts for only a couple minutes and fades. I haven't had too many aches and pains - more like just stiffness and muscle fatigue with mild aches. The last two night in bed have been brutal trying to get to sleep. I feell ike I need to move my body so bad.

The one thing that worries me is this very cold or hot feeling that sweeps over me and makes me feel very lightheaded and sort of dizzy. it's almost like cold and hot flashes combined, and I sweat while feeling cold and quivering with goosebumps (RL Stine). I think my blood pressure may be a bit high. I just feel very fucked man somebody fuckin help I MIGHT BE HAVING A FUCKIN STROKE!!!

(haha ok, your thread was just getting transfered, posting what I PMd you for the sake of others)
You're just fine man, relax. Just remember what you are going through now the next time you consider using opiates. What you are going through is text book withdrawal, you had it right.

Stick it out bud, it should almost be over by now. It's feeling better now than it was, right? Hang in there =)

You aren't going to die dude...youll just feel like you are for a few days. Your symptoms fit opiate withdrawal to a T.

Just do what ya can to relax, and ride it out! Remember, you aren't alone, most of us have been there.

Thanks a lot guys.

I can deal with the nausea, diahrea, sweating, all that shit...

But I never hear anyone talk about this weird dizzy lightheaded shit I'm getting or feeling like they're ready to faint. It really worries me.

To make things easier, just think to yourself that it is just because your body wants it. It can get really bad both mentally and physically if you think about it alot.

Have you been drinking enough water? I know I tend to starve my body of food n fluids when I w/d and the dizzy thing is a strong indicator my body is poop'n out on me and I need to rehydrate or eat something. How's ur pee lookin? (weird question haha but really) Is it really dark n stinky? Try slamming a gatoraid or a couple mugs of water. You should aim to piss clear.

Fuck I still feel it today. It's been going onfor like 5-6 days now. Is this normal? for thelast two days, just when I think it's over it creeps back up again. Is it noral to sort of go on and off like that? Fuck man I hate this

More or less normal... Duration and intensity vary from person to person, but the good news is that you are 5-6 days closer to feeling normal again! It helps to take shit one day at a time... Looking back over the past few days is only going to stir dark feelings, both physical and mental. At least you don't have to go to work and stand up all day, and if you do I'm sorry for bringing it up. Maybe try take up a hobby of some sort to keep your mind off things. Or maybe hang out with an old friend.

It could always be worse, so be fucking proud you made it 6 days! Thats more than I can say for myself.

hey, thanks so much. t would be really awese if you were a girl from my area right now. <3

Yeah, you're doing great man. Your physical symptoms should be subsiding and you'll probably get a bit depressed over the next week. Then you should wake up one morning feeling pretty damn good. At least, that's how it's always been for me.

Exercise really helps. Your brain hasn't been producing its own endorphins, so getting as much exercise as possible will speed up the process of getting back to normal. It's also psychologically satisfying to do some really intense cardio/sweat-producing exercise because it feels like you're expelling all of the toxins you've put into your body.

You're almost there. Congratulations.

ps. Yes, the dizziness is normal. Gatorade helps. And drink lots of water besides.

Like ^ said, good job getting this far. Stay positive, hydrated and try to get any exercise you can. We're all rootin for ya :)

I think I am still not feeling quite normal physically. Is this normal? It's been pretty much exactrly a week since the symptoms of withdrawal sparked up.
