Opiate withdrawal

So I have been using opiates (oxy, tramadol and codeine) for legitimate reasons the last 2-3 months, but I also used them to get high.

During that time I had about 20 pcs of xanax and other benzos, which I did semi-regularily. (not legitimate reasons)

Im now off both of them, used my last benzos the last couple of days to ease the withdrawal from opiates, and this is my first day off the benzos too.

I now have these fasciculations or twitches/tremors very often, and while standing in the kitchen just now I had this powerful spasm in my lower back like I couldnt control my upper body sort of, only for a couple of seconds. The twitches I have had all day, all over my body with a couple of minutes in interval. So I dropped everything I had in my hands and went straight to lie down in case of a seizure.

Are these normal? Or are these the signs of an impending seizure or something?

The highest dosage I ever did of the benzos was like 3mg xanax in a day and mostly just 1-2mg a day, and not every day either.

I have never had a seizure in my life and hope to stay that way.

Might be the tramadol withadrawl. Just remember benzos up your seizure threshold. I.E benzos are good for seizures, you might one to get some for that.

If you've been using benzos for 2-3 months regularly you are absolutely at a high risk for a seizure and need to see a doctor to get an anticonvulsant. What you're describing sounds more like tramadol withdrawal but still you can't be too safe.

Well I did only have between 20-30 pcs of xanax, and I havent used them every day. 30 pcs spaced out for 2 months is enough to cause seizures in wd?

I don't know how much a "piece" is like chunks of bars? Depends on how much you spaced it out. I would have had a seizure by now I can tell you that much.. But I'm prone to them. If you get a metallic taste in your mouth, or start feeling like you're gonna black out to the point where it scares you.. It's time to go to the er.

Not normally. For most people taking a Xanax every second or third day is nowhere near often enough to trigger wd seizures. Although some ppl are more susceptible. Still, if you've never had one then I doubt you will now.

Sounds like the tramadol wd to me as well. That drug has odd wd--including the weird brain zaps. Good job stopping

Sorry I forgot to mention. I had 1mg tablets. Around 20 1mg xanax, and around 10 1mg nifoxipams. The use were quite irregularly. Im now on my third day off benzos, and about a week away from my last opiate dosage.

Not feeling any anxiety or anything, but then again the last benzo I did was nifoxipam which I know now was really stupid, because we know so little about it. Half-life is not yet determined and for all I know I could get withdrawal as late as 1 week... On the other hand I have heard that longer acting benzos is not so intense to withdraw from?

Shit I hope im not gonna get this withdrawal...

Thanks man that helps my fear alot..I never got any seizures or anything close to it on tramadol either, and I did around 400mg/day sometimes.. Also, I had a week break from benzos earlier, and went on vacation. I drank alot on this vacation. Did not have any serious effects.

So Im at day 4 from benzos now and dont feel any major issues except twitching, some dizziness once in a while and excessive sweating, but these might be the opiate withdrawal, idk. I dont really know if Im benzo dependant or not. Does that indicate that Im out of danger?

Im guessing this is only some benzo rebound symptoms, and not a benzo physical withdrawal.

Think Im going to have some drinks later tonight, hoping thats safe..
