Swim has a mild H problem,he's been using moderately for about 6 months. He uses at least $20-40 a day of low grade H.
Swim has acquired some subutex(aprox 16mg), Klonopin (22mg),Lyrica (5000mg), 20 Trazodone (unsure of mg's),Tramodol (1500mgs).
He plans to quit using after Xmas so he can get the family day over with.
I think he has been lucky getting such a kit ready for the big jump.He plans tapering off the small amount of subutex he has before starting the Lyrica and is only going to have the Klonopin when really needed.
Swim doesn't suffer the sickness and diarrhea as bad as others but does suffer RLS really bad along with hot/cold,insomnia and every other aspect of withdrawals.
Swim was wondering if he has missed anything or any other helpful ideas that might help him see it through.
He has tried several times cold turkey and has been beaten by the RLS and insomnia every time.
He is also over a week into a Fluoxetine course and wondered would that help with the depression that follows withdrawal?
Swim could get Diazepam but each time he's tried that previously he has fucked it up due to the fuck it attitude that follows his vallie intake.
Could he start detox early with my arsenal and be ok over the xmas dinner table?

Welcome! We don't use swim here.

First, I would recommend checking out the Opioid Withdrawal Megathread and FAQ.

Second, I would recommend a 5 day taper with the subutex, using the following doses; 8,4,2,1,1. Klonopin can be a bitch to kick, so I recommend not using much of it. You can use 1-2mgs of klonopin when you get down to the 1mg subutex dose, and the 3-4 days following you last subutex dose since you may still have some withdrawal symptoms at that time. It helps with sleep, as well as the achy muscles and restless legs. Trazadone works for sleep too, but only take it if you really need to. Lyrica can help you adjust if you take klonopin consecutive days, since your body might have slight withdrawal effects from the klonopin.

As for the tramadol, since you are using the subutex, it will be useless. I really think you will be fine after taking subutex, so you wouldn't need the tramadol anyway. Just so you know, withdrawal from tramadol is often worse than regular opiate withdrawal due to its SNRI activity so you shouldn't start taking it regularly, and you shouldn't take it in doses about 400mgs as they can cause seizures. Basically, don't get hooked on tramadol after getting clean from H and detoxing with subutex.

So overall you are pretty set with kicking H. You have more than enough drugs at your disposal for this kick. Good luck, and toss those tramadol. :D

Welcome to bluelight! I hear ya those rls pains are a bitch and thats usually what gets me.
Im currently trying to taper aswell and i wish you the best of luck!
Cya around!!

Good luck with kicking. Just stay strong and remember why you are doing this. I can't stand the RLS from kicking. Its awful. My husband ends up not being able to sleep because I keep kicking him. Anyways, just use what you have to help and stick with it. Do not succumb to your addiction!

Thank you for the support.I plan on using the tramodol to help ease my withdrawals.I have had a problem with them in the past and am aware of their dangers,I only have a few and don't plan on hetting anymore.I'm thinking of starting either tomoro or xmas day I'm just worried I'll be rough and don't want to ruin it for me nor my families.

I have read Lyrica are better than klonpin and they near totally alleviate most symptoms.I can get more of these from my GP on the 5th Jan.What are you views on these pills?

I've never tried lyrica; I think subutex will do the most to help you.
