Since these are your first w/d's... expect fairly intense symptoms over the next 3-4 days. Depending on age, you could feel like a new man by day 5. It's really not that long lasting, not real opiates. Buprenorphine is the devil, though. Sick for weeks.
But, yes, hot and cold flashes, sweating, chills, goosebumps, just a general feeling of not being able to feel settled in. Restless legs at night. Reminds me... insomnia. Yet, extreme lethargy. Expect to be dozing off/napping at least once a day over the next 3 days. Maybe 4. But, after that, I can almost guarantee you'll be over it, or feel SO much better you think you are completely over it... with only 2 weeks under your belt of hydrocodone use. I know it feels bad... short half life opiate withdrawals hit fast and hard. That's why you feel caught off guard and scared. But, all I can do is tell you it will be over... and it will be over soon. In the meantime, do NOT take other opiates to help you get by. It will just reset all you've gained. THC is great during withdrawals, but I can't actually recommend that unless you live somewhere it's legal.
The symptoms may feel severe, but it's all about perspective. You are lucky. Go ahead and let your body heal. Rest. Sleep. Hydrate. Eat. Vitamins. Time. It will be over much sooner than it feels for you.
