Opiate withdrawal and pregnancy

Google has not been much help as results are aimed more at abuse, so I'm hoping maybe someone here might know. How much Percocet must one be taking in order for a newborn to experience withdrawal? I know the placenta filters some. How much for me to experience withdrawal? I'm 30 weeks pregnant and I take 20-30mg of Percocet a day (half a 5/325 pill at a time usually) to manage pain. I'm extremely worried about my baby experiencing withdrawal but I must take the Percocet to avoid preterm labor. I've talked to my OBGYN about it of course but she hasn't been able to answer this for me. Any insight would be helpful.

An exact amount is unknown but if it's enough to keep you out of withdrawals, the baby will experience them at some level. This is unavoidable but the benefits of staying on percocet can outweigh the risks. What you can do now is consult a neonatologist affiliated with your hospital. Make an appointment so they can answer all your questions and let you know what to expect.
