Opiate weirdness

I'm at the point now where when I have hydros they don't do a whole lot. I didn't have them for over a year which is why it was weird. 22.5mg (my old dose) feels almost totally passive and the same goes with oxys.

However, for some reason 120mg-150mg of codeine is REALLY nice for me. Is this my body metabolizing codeine really well and my tolerance really being that much higher, or do any of you guys tend to note that much variance from opiate to opiate?

Codeine does absolutely nothing for me. I don't think I metabolise it like the average person. I can say though that hydro seems weak in comparison now to other stronger opiates I've done. I'm sure it's all mental and not a physical thing though. Are you cold water extracting?

No, not when my dose was like three 7.5mg hydros. No point, at least not in the past when I tried it with just three pills. But it seeming to be a lot less effective after a year had past showed me that if I were to take them, I'd probably have to take about 50mg in which case I'd CWE.

And if I were to use codeine that was OTC I'd have to CWE.

Hydrocodone doesn't do a thing for me but I love oxycodone. Love both hydromorphone and oxymorphone too.

Likewise, I can get high for a day off a miniscule amount of suboxone for some reason.

Some people can't get high on tramadol and some people get really high on it (me).

I think its all about individual metabolisms and preferences in the high. By preferences of highs I mean, maybe said drug is affecting two people the same way but that given effect is subjectively more pleasurable to person A than person B.

SirTophamHat, I'm the same with getting high on 0.5-1mg bupe, now that I've basically been somewhat clean for ~five months. IV 0.25mg bupe had me wrecked (w diazepam though). I haven't been able to get high of bupe in a minute, considering I had a massive heroin addiction and got off MMT this summer.

I finally expirienced IV hydromorphone properly, feel in love with that huge rush. Just off 2-4mg too. I couldn't feel D's when I was shooting 1-2 g's of dope daily.

Me too, I seem to jive really well with tramadol which is good because I get handfuls every three weeks for free =D

I seem to be a shitty codeine metabolizer though, even at ceiling doses all I get is severe histamine release lasting about two hours. High doses also feel like my eyes are gonna swell shut, no visible swelling besides very light puffiness, but it's uncomfortable. Aside from that I'm a good metabolizer of all other opiates/oids. I do notice that I build tolerance to hydro disgustingly fast though... one day 30mgs will get me high, the next I need 50mgs and from here it's not even worth the money... For this reason I'd rather have dillies or heroin, or a kratom/tramadol combo.

Agree, although it looks like tolerance but not really after a year. Unless of course you were under different similar meds.
