Opiate Virgin banging heroin?

Someone Who Isn't Me is going to purchase a very
small amount of H tomorrow.SWIM has no problem
with the thought of injecting hard drugs in to his
veins.
<sarcasm>;After reading Phreex' IV Guide he has
also understood that injecting drugs are cool and
therefore make him as an IV user cool.</sarcasm>
The problem is,SWIM wonders if maybe smoking the
H would be better,since he has no opiate
experience, except for taking two morphine pills
abt. a year ago with little to no effect.
Anybody here who has any ideas has what would
be the "best way" for this fictional character

i to would like to add to this post. I to have like no tolerance to opiates. MY friend says he can get h. Its 20 dollars. They snort theirs though. ANd they snort the whole bag. About how much should i shoot?
 
You'll want to snort a very tiny bump at first to test the potency. A good rule of thumb is you will shoot about 3 times less than it takes to get you off snorting it. Also, when you load that rig, shoot half first and wait a bit, if you need the rest go ahead and bang it. If not, don't shoot it :-)
 
Agree with Deus here. I wouldn't recommend smoking heroin personally... if you don't know what you're doing it can be very easy to fuck up and waste it. If it's your first time with opioids, snorting might be a safer route (as long as it's not tar, can't snort that shit). The problem with both routes is gauging the strength of the stuff, which is hard w/o prior experience. You might see if your dealer honestly knows how strong it is -- eg he is a friend or FOAF as has tried it, not just saying "this shit is the best man." I would IV no more than half a bag at first, though it may take a full one, or two, to give you a full experience. Still there is very good stuff where half a bag might be more than enough.
 
If you/your friend has NO TOLLERANCE and has NEVER done an opiatem DEFINITLY start with a *tony* bump and see what dose works good .. when you find an optimal nasal dose, you can figure about half of that will be good to bang...
So NO, for an opiate virgin, you might not want to start by banging... I did this and lived but the person that prepared it all was about as 'expert' as you can get...
 
Yeah.. heroin isn't a drug you want or need to jump into banging. Snorting it will be more than enough for an opiate virgin probably for at least half a year before it gets old and you want to pick up a rig.
It's also a lot easier to walk away from lines than needles.
Really, anyone would be stupid to inject a drug, especially heroin, their first time doing it.
 
*UPDATE*
SWIM just did it.The amount of H was so little that
smoking/snorting just didn't seem like an option.
The H was brown powder,I'm not sure if it's
possible to smoke that kind..
Also,the guy SWIM bought it from said it wasn't
very potent,he bought a teeny amount he paid $25
for..
SWIM did it alone,a bit nervous about maybe
hitting an arterie or something,but it seemed to
go smoothly.SWIM was also informed that he needed
to add some lemon to make it desolve,so he did.
He addded some 4-5 drops of lemon and heated the
H until it was as desoled as he could get it.
Some powder was left in the bottom of the spoon.
Although SWIM has only IVed any drug ONCE,and that
was amphetamine, about a year ago,with help.
That time he only had to hold his hand around his
arm to make the veins show and his little helpers
did the rest.This time,alone,he used an audiocable
(you know,the cable from the CD-ROM to the
soundcard :) ) as a tourniquet with at least some
success.He found a vein,or at least what he hoped
was a vein,and put the needle in.Some blood
trickled in,not much and he pulled back the
plunger to see if more came.A little bit did,so
he just pushed the plunger in..
There was no rush,as was expected with so small
a dose.SWIM is aware that trainspotting-type
orgasms just isn't reality..
He cleaned up his gear and checked his pupils.
No real change,maybe a bit smaller.No real
euphoria,just a relaxed feeling and..Okay,maybe
a bit euphoria.
All in all,not bad,he's not feeling sick although
he was prepared for some ayahauasca-type purging.
Just wanted to let you guys know..

If you re-read my post you'll see that the

Heat should be all you need. Don't add lemon juice, if your going to use an acid use white vinegar. Also it sounds like you had some pretty bad dope. While it isn't like "a million orgasms at once", good heroin WILL produce a rush and WILL feel good (provided you get along with opiates). Some people are more effected by this than others. For example, I experience a great deal of euphoria and a rushing and pulsating sensation of warmth all over, when I shoot heroin. Your mileage may very. But in general it sounds like your dope wasn't the greatest.

offered Dolcontin pills,which contain morhpine
sulfate.A bag of H and a Dolcontin goes for the
same price here,but I don't know what would be
best.Crappy H or morphine?Also,I've been told
that all you have to do to be able to inject the
Dolcontin is remove the sugar coating(?) and
dissolve it,no heating needed.Oh well,SWIM won't
try any opiate before New Years Eve anyway..
