Lets say, someone needed 50mg of oxycodone to feel anything. He just took one 50mg every day. Now if he wanted to lower his tolerance without quitting and having to face WDs, could he do 25mg per day for a while to lower his tolerance back down? (To the point where he'd feel something off of 35-40mg instead of 50)

(Also, yes, I know SWIM and its varieties don't protect you from anything, but, for once, I'm actually asking on behalf of someone else XD)

Lowering your dose will lower your tolerance yes, but not as much as taking a complete break obviously and I don't know how long you would need to take the reduced dose for to have any impact - opioid tolerance is quite tricky to get down sometimes and it varies from person to person.

I don't have any personal experience in trying to lower oxy tolerance though so will see if anyone else does! :D

I've found there is no way to lower your tolerance without you being very aware that you're not taking something that your body is craving. It's like exercising without pain, not possible for me. Rip the bandaid off quickly and plan your crappy days out ahead of time, then all you'll have to worry about is follow-through.
