opiate tolerance drop

it has been over two weeks since I took an opiate. my tolerance was at 20 mg of hydrocodone for a good buzz and 30mg for a good nod. I'm wondering how much my tolerance could have dropped in that time.

I know it's a difficult question but I would like to hear any experiences with short tolerance breaks. I have a fast metabolism and I've always been a lightweight. I would like to hit the sweet spot, a.k.a nod, with my first dose because I'm not able to get very many pills.

To my knowledge I've been told by BLers that opiate/opioid tolerance drops in a few days. So I believe your tolerance is back down to zero.

For personal experience I used to take 300mg codeine every Friday for a good nod and I would get the same buzz everytime with the 7day break.

I think you'll be fine by now to nod off happily again. Ps keep your dosing that way. It's much easier to avoid huge tolerance and addiction. But I know it can be tough with those lovely Hydros.

really? back to zero after two weeks? I have a hard time believing it's back to zero, if It is I will be very happily surprised.

Yeah mayn. Those doses are 0tolerance anyway. When I'd take hydro it would be 20mg and I never had a tolerance to it since I don't have access to American branded drugs.

Try it out and post back.

yeah, i honestly can't imagine you having a lower tolerance than what you already have lol i'd kill to be in your spot.

well it didn't go all the way down but it's definitely lower, I've got a decent buzz off of a 10/325 swallowed whole and intact on an empty stomach. it's akin to 20mg broken up and swallowed when I had a tolerance.
