Opioids opiate tolerance after 3 months no use?

Hey I had asked this quedtion about a month ago but circumstances have changed...

I had a VERY high oxy tolerance 250-280mg (oral roa) to get a good nod. And I decided to stop for different reasons cash being one of them. Now, 3 months later I have come across some oxy.

I was wondering if anyone had a similar experience and where their tolerance was at? Also what should I take as a starting given my previous tolerance and my 3month break? Thanks

Well your tolerance has def diminished greatly while not doin anything for that long I had take a two month break when my tolerance was about the same as yours and honestly 20mg was plenty the first time I used again however my tolerance went right back to the same level very fast in comparison to when I first started and it got that high so I would suggest 20 to start see how you feel and if you need to you can re dose always keep in mind that a lot of OD's happen when you first start up again so be careful and start low to see how it effects you then change it accordingly cause you can always take more but never less if you do to much to start
 
They say that your tolerance will never go back down completely to where it once was before you used. I'm not sure how true that is, but it's what they say. If I were you, I would start small and then re-dose accordingly. It's better to be safe than dead. lol
 
I doubt if you will achieve what you are looking for on 20mg, even after a three month break. You can safely take in the 45-50 mg range and get what you are looking for. Like others say, and yes it is very much true "Your tolerance" is going to shoot up in a matter of days. This is why I only take oxy once in a while as a treat. I would advise you do the same.

I've been using opiates for about 8 years not, with 90% of those years having an average of 20-30 days of opiates use (not all consecutive, and my younger years it was a bit less), my tolerance continued to climb with a permanent increase in tolerance. I used to be able to get off on 15-25mg of oxy no problem (nodding out pretty hard). As time went on, around year 6-7 I'd have take 40-50mg or so to nod. Now in year 8 it took me around 60-70mg to nod even with nmda-antagonist use mixed in through out the year. Atm I probably couldn't nod untill I took 80-90mg, though I had a 4 month opiate addiction leading me to that point (60-120mg was my avg dose then with 120mg being the dose I'd need to nod a lot of those months). I'll be curious to see just how much oxy it would take.

Using other opiates and not focusing in one type helps prevent build up as fast and can even surprise you with how high you can get off an opiate you don't indulge in as much. After a lot of oxy, I found hydrocodone can surprise me with such a minimal gap in dosage, which imo is awesome as I enjoy hydrocodone a lot more than I do oxycodone.
 
Let's just be grateful that your tolerance isn't like mine having to take 300mg oxycodone "pure or course" to get desired effects so enjoy while I have to deal with the bs:)

The truth. Opiate tolerance will stick around for a long, long time. I'm of the opinion that it never goes back down to zero.
 
I think I'll take about 50mg. I did have a pretty high tolerance and the general concensus seems to be that opiate tolerance never goes back down to zero.

carefull..............i was told 15 MG roxi rails to be safe. I railed a 30 MG and 1 hour later railed another 30 MG with no tollerance. and just railed 30 MG every few hours and was high with a nice deep nod....it was good. Defiantly liked roxicodone. And you dont worry about the cuts like with tar H. After the 2nd roxi at 60 MG i had pinned pupils and was in a great nice relaxing opiate high. Destroys ur nose though when u snort ><

Yea bro it also burns like hell to snort it, but you have to enjoy that rush and the nod.
I honestly love opiates more than myself lol

So what in your experiences do you consider once and a while and a treat? Im at average 60mg ox and/or viks a day...desperately need to find the balance and discipline to use recreationally. Thanks!
 
Always start low. Depending on set, setting, and personal variance your tolerance can vary greatly, so there's no correct answer to this question.

I'm closing this thread because everyone will have their own level of tolerance depending on length of use - so it's self serving.
