Opioids opiate stupididy

I agree with sarajenni.. after a few days' binge it's more of a hangover than withdrawals. Not to get hung up on semantics or particular words, but opiate withdrawals are extremely painful when you have a dependence.

2) has anyone else had the weird thoughts and emotions because that's the part he cant handle.
3) What should he do now

Yes, the weird thoughts and roller-coaster emotions can be truly horrendous and for some (myself included) can be the camel-bustin' straw when trying to quit more so than the awful physical symptoms. What your buddy should do is stay away from oxy and opiates in general, because it sounds like he's one of the people who are more susceptible to depression during WDs - and those folks can find themselves getting in deep where it's hard to keep perspective.

Once you lose hope and are overwhelmed every time you go into WDs, you're in a cycle which is extremely hard to escape from.

You'd need a lucky unicorn's horn or something to get outta there, I mean.

Yes, you can easily have withdrawal symptoms after 6 days.
Which I believe has already been established but that's all I can really say for now.
