Opioids Opiate questions

As long as you don't mix with alcohol and benzos you probably won't die. But if you aren't careful you will end up with a nasty habit and that could kill you (eventually :( ). Other negative side effects come with the habit, as I'm sure others have told you. Good luck, have fun and stay safe 8(
 
thanks for the responses guys, and I do research drugs extensively but I am inexperienced with opiates the information I get seem to be 2 sided.
one more question is that I've been reading and it says you have to take your dose all at once to get high because re dosing won't get you anymore high it will just carry on the current high for longer. Is this true? on my last and only time doing oxycodone I took 10mg and didn't feel much so an hour later I took 10 more and felt a little something and then 10 more and I was nicely buzzed. would the effects have been much different if I took 20mg and then 10mg later?

It is somewhat true. If I took 30mg of oxy, then waited and hour and took another 30mg, I would most definitely get higher. But for the most part yes, it is better to take your whole dose at once and then wait until you feel it wearing off, and then re-dose to get the most out of the experience. If your redose is a couple hours after the initial one, but is smaller, like only 10mg vs 30mg, it would only prolong the high, not really increase it.
 
The first dose you take is always going to hit you the hardest.. that's why (within the parameters of safety) you want to make it a good one. Afterwards, the longer you wait in-between doses the stronger they will feel. Dosing throughout the day every couple hours will continue your high, but it wont feel even close to as strong as the first dose was.
 
ahhh okay, that is rather disappointing news, what do you think a good dose for someone with no tolerance would be for a good first dose?

When I was brand new to opiates..10 to 15 mg of oxy would knock me on my ass...not dangerously so but more than I wanted..lots of nausea and vomiting. (But I'm female, and only weighed around 112 pounds).

But if you never (or rarely) take opiates/opioids and 10mg of oxy isn't doing it for you when you tried before then it would be safe to start with 20. The first dose will hit you harder than subsequent doses no matter but it will add to your high if you take another 10mg 45 to 60 mins later.
 
I only needed 7.5mg of hydrocodone to be in absolute bliss my first time. But tolerance raises so quickly with opiates. The next night 10mg didn't even make me feel close to the first time. Within a week I was needing 20-25mg to get a good buzz. It;s too bad opiates and benzos build a tolerance at such an alarming rate. What I would give and do to feel an opiate like it was the very first time again. I get a boner just thinking about it. Maybe in the future we will have technology that can completely reset your tolerance by reducing the amount fo extra receptors that long term-use of opiates has caused. The less receptors, the less it takes to stimulate their production of endorphins.
 
I guess I should provide an update, me and a friend of mine both started with taking 10mg, I went to a university event and began to feel the effects within 20 minutes or so, I then took 10mg more and then 2 5mg bumps a little while later, I felt great. The effects were remarkable and I was able to socialize and have a good time until I decided to go to sleep.
 
Oxycodone, hydrocodone, even codeine, are safe given the correct dosage. Now, if you were to do something foolish and get an OC80 and crush it and consume the lot... then yeah, you probably won't be waking up with your low tolerance. However if you pop 2 10/325 Percocets, you'll be fine. :)

On a sidenote, be careful with opiates. The euphoria they produce can be addicting, especially if you already have an addictive personality.
