Ok so to the point, for me anyway, while in the mist of daily oxycodone use, I can care less about listening to music. However when I am in wd's or not using for a bit of time after high daily doses, I am on YouTube for hours listening to music. Weird. Thoughts?

Not wierd at all. We all have our own way of coping with withdrawal.

Surfing youtube is a great way to keep your mind off things.

Damn, that's me to a tee! I drive 60-120 minutes to work and when I have my pain meds I listen to books on CD (yeah, go ahead and say it - you old fart!). Sports talk is OK too. But off them, I really really enjoy music cranked up LOUD!! I think when I'm on the meds loud music locks up my brain but who the heck knows. Interesting observation.
