Opioids Opiate Question + Acetaminophen question

Hey guys, earlier today my friend gave me two Vicodin (7.5/750) pills and three Percocet (7.5/325) pills. I have used both before, but haven't used either for about two weeks (Oxycodone). I use these pills not very often and when I do use them, I have absolutely no tolerance to them.

My usual dose for Percocet is 22.5mgs and my usual dose for Vicodin is 15mgs. I never have ANY tolerance to opiates when I use these drugs every once in a while.

Anyway, earlier I popped two Perc's and blew one which had me feeling good, but not as good as usual (I never blew them before, I just figured I'd give it a try for once). I took the Percocets at approx. 5:30 EST, about 3 and a half hours ago.

My first question is that I really want to take the Vicodin later tonight - in about an hour/two hours (which would be at 10:00-11:00 EST). What I am wondering is will my usage of Perc's earlier in the night affect my Vicodin usage negatively in any way? I.E. will it make the Vic's weaker than usual? Will it make me sick?

For the second question, is 2475 mgs of Acetaminophen too much to take in this period of time?

I wouldn't be worried if it was me taking that much APAP, but if you are concerned then just do a quick CWE on them.

Just make sure you don't drink and I am assuming that you should be fine. 4000mg is when you should start getting concerned IME.

Okay, I'll just pop them then. Thanks a lot for the answer, but do you have an answer for my first question? Like did the Perc's I used earlier give me a small tolerance that will make the vicodin not affect me as well? Or will it be the same?

Some people don't get much out of re-dosing opiates, and others do, so it comes down to the individual. Also, don't sniff percocet.

thanks a lot. Seeing as I received the Vicodin for free, I'll just pop them hoping for the best.
And even though I probably won't sniff Percocet in the future, why shouldn't I? Is it because of the Acetaminophen?

yes, acetaminophen up the nose is a BITCH! And not worth it, unless the ratio of opiate : acetaminophen was something like 10:1. With the percs you have, the ratio is 1 : 43. Don't even try it. It won't do nothing.

Also, redosing opiates is kind of a waste imho. You're better off waiting until the first dose is out of your system, and you don't feel it anymore.

I notice this when shooting Hydromorphone. The first shot is an amazing rush with a two hour glow. If i shoot up again in that two hour glow, i get a tiny "flow" and the glow continues for another hour and a half. A waste imho.

I feel the same about hydromorphone / morphine IV'd. Gotta get all the medicine in that first hit, otherwise any hit after that seems kind of pointless. Although I feel that IV hydromorphone/morphine/heroin are miles apart than say IV roxicodone/oxycodone.
