I take opiates/opiods daily to manage chronic pain, and I take methyphenidate (ritalin) to maintain a certain standard of productivity.

I find the Oxy/Demerol/Morphine/Hydromorphone or hydrocodone to be sedateing while im trying to work from my computer chair, regardless if i keep taking Ritalin and drinking coffee, they just arent powerful enough stimulants for me.

Does any body have any suggestions to combat this?

I'm assuming you've tried only taking each of the opiates you've listed by themselves? I only ask because for me, oxycodone doesn't sedate me at all. It actually feels like the opposite, and cause me to be more productive. Oxy is the only opiate that does this to me however.

So, if you haven't tried just oxy, I'd give oxy a try. If that still isn't working, then add in the coffee and ritalin. If that doesn't work, maybe try switching to adderall

^I second this. The Morphine/morphones were too sedating for me. I go back to oxy EVERY time I've attempted a rotation.

You're only really left with Fent if you've tried all the above. Is your dose too high perhaps?
