Opiate equivalents?

I am probably gonna get flamed at for this thread but I did search. I was just curious as to whether or not their was an equivalency chart of opiates like their is for benzos. Thanks in advance.
 
^ everyones will be different. The charts are going to be WAY more accurate than a chart of personal experiences would be.

Its another calculator like the one jasoncrest posted and has the option to take into account cross tolerance. Its quite accurate too.

now that I looked at it, i think it might be too. it says 4mg of suboxone is equal to 200mg methadone. Is that correct? I always thought it was more like 4mg = 100mg

thanks guys their are alot of surprises on both for instance when I take 40 mgs of methadone it is atleast equivalent to 80 of oxy but it says 80 is = to 80
 
oral doses or morphine and hydro are listed as the same and i put oxy right there with it, although most sites list it as 1.5 times as potent, i think its WAYYYY weaker......but yeah oxy hydro and morphine and methadone oral doses are all pretty close to equipotent(i know ill probably get flamed alot for saying that, but thats my experience)
too many charts....personal experience is definatly better. like, i would take 8 norcos over an oxy 80 ANY DAY OF THE WEEK. hell id take 6 norcos over an oxy 80....YMMV
also, methadones dose equiv changes with chronic dosing.
most people will bash the hel out of oral morphine, but thatss actualy my favorite high i fucking love morphine
 
that chart could get someone killed it says that 40mg oral oxycodone is equal to 160mg of oral methadone 8o 8o that is no where near accurate:\



it also says that 4mg of hydromorphone is only equal 10.7mg of methadone???


and 10mg hydrocodone equal to 40mg of methadone??


that chart is flat out dangerous

hydro 10 mg (should be equipotent to) oxy 15 mg should be equipotent to morphine oral dose 10 mg
as far as i know what i just typed is considered very correct . correct me if i am wrong, lol, but i know that oxy is listed as 1.5 X strength of hydro and morphine

If codeine is 0.1x morphine and codeine's bioavailability is 90% and morphine's ~1/3, then it's around that. Right?

According to estimations from http://wiz2.pharm.wayne.edu/module/opioid.html, they should be about the same strength not counting in the route of administration and bioavailability matters. Anyway, according to that site oxymorphone would be twice as potent as hydromorphone. Is it really? I think the difference is smaller than in the case of oxycodone and hydrocodone.

what grade did you get in maths?

if oxy is 1.5 X stronger than morphine and hydrocodone (which it is), then it should be 10mg hydro/morphine to 6.66... mg oxycodone

divide the hydro/morphine dose by 1.5, or times the oxy dose by 1.5
 
oops...sorry for being human and making a fucking mistake. i guess you must have gotten F's in english "maths"? what the hell kind of word is that :)
thanks for correcting me htough, your right. 15 hydro or morph would be 10 oxy no the other way around
 
here is my more accurate and reasonable chart

Base Dose:

10mg morphine IV(equal to 30mg oral right?)

is equal to:

10mg hydrocodone ORAL

about 7mg oxycodone ORAL

about 3mg methadone ORAL



u can figure the rest out ask me if u need to i promise i am WAY more accurate and better at telling u a dose than a fucking chart.
