Ok, well I think we should have a nice collection of things that contra-indicate, potentiate, negate etc with opi(ate/oid)s of all sorts.




MY first question:


What effect does tannin (as in, from tea) have, on an opiate high, specifically Codeine & Dihydrocodeine?

but, heres a few:
cannabis is medicaly known to potentiate basicaly all opiates across the board. in my exprience, i dont even get high off opies at all until i hit that tree. and i have taken opiates for ten years. cannabis makes it feel like all the sudden the opiate actualy really starts to work and you feel WAYYYY more euphoric and way higher than on either drug alone.
DXM prevents tolerance from building to opies, AND all other sorts of drugs. taking a small dose of dex (30-300 mg) daily with your opies REALLY does to wonders and in my experience also makes the high better and last longer
diphen works wonders with all opies in my experience, though prometh feels better with a few (codeine, and hydro come to mind) they DO potentiate the nod and they synergize and make you feel hella good
grapefruits will make your high last longer if eaten or drinkin 20 minutes before injestion of opiate. it will also increase peak plasma levels.
soma in low doses feels amazing with any opiate but especialy hydrocodone
benzos and opies-its a no brainer
speed and opiates-this combo is the best....i woudl never touch any kind of speed excpet maybe REALLY good clean meth if i didnt have opiates to take with............even then with the meth, id really want the opies for the come down at least.
opies plus mushrooms-i have found greatly destroys the clarity and spirituality of the trip, though for some people, shrooming without an opiate would be a a NEVER kind of thing, becasue of wd, and now that im on bupe the next time i get shrooms im going to try eating a half ounce on the bupe.

drinking on any type of opiate/iod is VERY dangerous for tyhose who out there dont there limit, but for me, a few beers or a few shots go REALLY well with some hydrocodone or some percs.

grapefruits are said to make the high last longer, and in no way am i sayin they dont, buit for me it jus hasnt really worked.

also like klowns said, opies and benzos are great, but their a dangerous combo too for the ones who dont know their limit.

bud and opies gives the best pleasure ive ever gotten out of any other drug, but i cant smoke anymore so that doesnt really apply to me, which is a damn shame considering what a great combo it is.

again like klowns said, i smoke almost as much cigarettes on opies as i do on blow or when im rollin.

also, it may jus be a placebo, but i finmd that drinking water makes em kick in a bit more. but thats prolly jus me, and itll prolly jus help em metabolize faster in the end.

one last thing too.
wear a jacket or hoodie when they hit you. a very comfortable one too :D

opium and whiskey is indeed quite lovely. idler....youll find many people on here trying to buzzkill yuo most likely if you mention you like alcohol with your opies. i dont know why? i got to haev a few good drinks, no matter what drug im on!! im talkin, a shot or 2 a dat pridlege heem, and a few fat tires........oh yeah!!!!!! sorry i dont know about dxm in the uk, though im assuming its there and easy to find. drug name is actualy dextromethorphan, so look for that! just look for cough suppressants and look at active ingredients.

saucy: i too have had greater euphoria off opies/pot combo than any other drug. its just...AMAZING. the synergy is TOO good hehe.

a lot of people get absolutely paraletic and thats sooo bad.

when i say whiskey and opium, i mean enough opium just so youre itchin, then whiskey for a lil mindlessness (euphoria) and helps the itching.

opiates + benzos + cannabis = perfect bliss. but all in moderation of cour

with opiates, DON'T dose more than once a day, and it's best to dose one day, and take two days off (minimum) and then dose again. if you start dosing multiple times a day and days in a row you will develop a habit that will slowly ruin your life. (it happened to me, and i never thought it would because i figured i was smarter than that, 140 IQ. but it can get anyone)

GFjuice is decent, taken 45-90 minutes prior to dosing with oxycodone/hydrocodone, etc.

don't snort percocet or vicodin or anything with APAP. definitely a big DONT.

DONT spend more than $1.00 / mg on oxycodone. anything over $.50/mg is a rip off but please don't spend more than a dollar per MG, that is just horrible, heroin would be better IMO.

naw man i jus had to quit smokin cause of the side effects. i had a panic attack for no reason. . . .at all. it jus came out of no where, and i almost had one a few days ago whilst smoking with a few friends, but i got on top of it quickly enough :D
i woulda looked really funny jumpin round grabbin my chest in front of a bunch of blitzed people watchin tv out of nowhere.

but bout the hoodie man, its jus fuckin comfortable to where somethin thats wrapped round you and warm, when youve got that peak offa opies. i know u know what i mean, when they hit you your whole body is glowing with warm euphoria, a hoodie, or something soft jus makes you feel that much more comfortable.

but i havent quit smokin for GOOD. ill only smoke now when on opiates/ benzo's jus so i have nothin to worry bout, and because it feels fanfuckintastic

totaly understood. and yeah thats the same reason i love wearing a hoodie. now, i cant stand TOO many layers or tons of big coats on, but one NICE REALLY comfy and warm hoody is perfect.
about the panic, dude i COMPLETELY undrstand. i battled that for years. FINAYL a few years ago me and cannabis made up and decided to quit fucking
with eachother (lol for lack of better terms at the moment)
with accepting my self and life much more, with facing my anxiety better, i was able to actualy turn pot around and begin using it like i used to: a tool AGAINST anxiety. but yeah when i was younger all the sudden i got one after smoking weed one day and boy god i battled with myself and with the idea of giving up cannabis for years. i just couldnt do it, but the anxiety was so bad. but , somehow, i "Smoked my way through it" and now have no regrets even about the times i sat there miserable due to the anxiety i was fueling myself after smoking cannabis. seriously, maybe it wont work for everyone, but most people i know actualy, the old timers and such, we have ALL been through a period where pot led us to tremendous anxiety. all the people i still chill with, have "smoked their way through" as well

and btw EOJ, dude im not joking. there are people in my town that sell oc for 120 and 80. a half a pill for 60 bucks. holy fuck huh>>!>!>!!??!? ive never bought one. ive never even paid eighty. the msot i have ever paid for oxy was 5 dollars for a ten mg pill. please, if we dont support this market, it has to end. orangejuice is right on here. if we refuse to pay that much for oc's. then people will be FORCED to drop the price.

I'm kinda surprised nobody's mentioned the amazing high resulting from a cocaine-opiate combo. (Speedballs, anyone?) Know your tolerance and be smart, and you're in for the ride of a lifetime.

IMO, opiates are the BEST coke 'comedown' remedy, far better than benzos, and they're equally great to consume while blowing lines... Even if you're not willing or able to use the classic combo of coke and heroin, any mix of coke and opiate/opioid drugs is pretty heavenly.

Opiates/opioids take the edge off the coke, and make the whole experience more blissfully euphoric... I did such a combo on the weekend, and it exceeded my expectations... Just beautiful.

yeah............that one slipped my mind. it IS EXTREMELY euphoric but i dnt do coke anymore, i dunno maybe once a year, so thats why i forgot. but, i DO LOVE METH with my opies, in my opinion if you do that, AND add a benzo and some pot, there is NO way to feel better., unless you just skipped all that and jsut ate a half ounce of shroomz

i agree with opies being among the ebst comdwon aids.
heres my comedown remedy actualy:
soma (1-6 for me)
opiate (any will work , but the more sedating warmer ones are the best, like heroin or morpine or hydrocodone)
benzo (valium or kpin, but xanax if you Need FAST relief
pot (go for an indica or something really euphoric and relaxing like blueberry)
one diphen if needed

And yeah, if you're looking to really change things up, it's pretty fun to mix opiates and benzos on the coke comedown, but every time I use these together, I just overly sedate myself and fall asleep. And that sux, cause I like to be awake for that great high... I guess I just haven't found my magic number yet... I'll keep practicing, though. I don't mind

First, Id like to see where it was medically proven, because that isnt true for everyone. I, for instance, dont feel the opiates at all if I smoke weed. It over-powers it. I dont feel any potentiation what-so-ever. I also think an opiate high is so good it shouldnt be messed with. If you need to add to the high to make it better, try just taking more opiates. Its a unique high that shouldnt be adulterated. You also said you like alcohol + opiates. To each their own, but I just dont understand that. No offense meant, but I get the feeling you like being "fucked up" more than you like being "high."

Second, same thing as the first. Benzos ruin the opiate high for me. Most people I know say the same thing. They just overpower the opiates too much.

actualy, believe it or not , IT IS PROVEN FACT. just google it, like google morphine and thc or something. ill go find the source if its really that hard to find (which it isnt)
its not just syngery. thc IS KNOWN to make morphine stronger
