Opiate detox

Hello everyone, I am doing a study to find out the easiest way to detox from opiates. I moved from FL to NY 10 months ago to get clean and was sober for 8 months. I relapsed and began slowly getting back into it. I have a 1 bag of heroin per day habit. I realizes this isn't much but the withdraws make it difficult to work and do the things he needs to do. I was on a very positive path until this relapse.
Is it possible for me to take suboxone for 4-5 days after last use and dodge the worst of the physical withdraws? Sorry if this is posted in the wrong section.

Yeah a quick sub taper can be pretty effective. Do like this
Day1 2mg
Day2 1.5 mg
Day3 1mg
Day4 0 mg
Day5 1mg
Day6 .5mg
Day7 0mg
Day8 .5 mg

Than stop and use comfort meds like Xanax or some other benzo plus weed to deal with any other lingering symptoms.

When I started opiod use it was for pain and they jumped me from hydrocodone to opana (oxymorphone) without explaining the difference and I was a novice. 5 years later and off opiates I will say that tapering never worked for me even when clean for weeks on end. I finally did some research and talked to some chemists and pharmacologists and mixed adderall with celexa to break through the last hurdles of prolonged opiate addiction. Message me if you feel that this is something you want to know about

Thanks for the responses guys. What i ended up doing after reading tons of experiences from tons of people on multiple different sites (thanks Google) was something like what crimsonjunk recommended.
Day 1-3 suboxone
1. 2mg sublingual
2. 1mg insuffulated
3. 1mg sublingual
(i did it this way because the slightly higher BA of bupe intranasal created somewhat of a taper when using the sane dose, but sublingual the following day)
Day 4-6 tramadol
4. 250mg tramadol
5. 250mg
6. 150mg
I felt this to be pretty effective in helping to "dodge" the worst of the withdrawal symptoms. Of course there was still some discomfort but much more bearable than if i had not used a taper. I would like to note that i intended to cease all opiod use after the 3 days of suboxone but the discomfot was still much too great.
