have a 6 mg suboxone daily habit for about 3 months. This is much better than my 120 mg oxy habit from a year ago. But I want opiates out of my life forever. Planning on taking some time off work to just go through withdrawals. I don't need to pass a drug test. This is just for me. Are there any detox drinks or cleanses that will help with the withdrawal period. Mainly looking for anything to just get the drugs out of my system faster. Thanks guys fo any help.

I don't know of anything that will help clear the subs out of your system. I took suboxone for a short while in a detox coming off oxy so they tapered me pretty quickly. You could gradually lower your dose. Perhaps someone with more experience can suggest a taper schedule. I'm going to move this to Basic Drug Discussion and hopefully you will get more responses. All i can say is sweat it out and have a lot of bowel movements...but im not sure if tht work for opiats.....im in the same boat kinda that u are

I think what you are doing is confusing what would be considered a "body cleansing detoxifying" technique with a "removing drugs from system and resetting receptor sites / natural neurotransmitters" Sure there are ways to detox the body of free radicals and all of that holistic stuff but that is way different from achieving a homeostatic balance naturally. The former has all sorts of celebrity endorsed "what have you" tea ect and the latter is just sobriety and time. I dont believe there is any "true" way to remove toxins for from your body in a way that keep them out. I could give you techniques I picked up for supposedly stopping fat cells from being burned or increasing the water content of urine while keeping other markers high but none of that will help you get them out faster in a way that will help you personally.

I cant say I know for sure, I just know when it comes to detox theres no easy way other then time + sobriety.
