so for the past couple of days i have been taking 5 t3s and it gives me an incredible high and rush about 20mins after ingestion. so yesterday i took 10mgs of oxycodone in the form of percocet. orally of course. this dose of oxy would normally get me where i want to be but it didnt. it just provided a small euphoria not the in your face one i am used to. is there a cross tolerance between these drugs? if so how long of a break should a take from opiates to get my tolerance back to baseline? while i am here i mine as well ask the same thing for benzos. how long until a benzo tolerance goes back to baseline and is there anything i can do/take to make the process quicker?

I don't know about the cross tolerance thing but I think dxm will help reverse opiate tolerane. I could be wrong though.

Id say only about a week in all honisty...thats what i do but of course it might be diffrent for u.

Yes there is a cross tolerance, codeine converts to morphine which is definitly cross tolerance to Oxycodone. I wouldn't rely on dxm to completely reverse tolerance, it will probably take a week before your tolerance is reset to absolute 0 and that's if the daily dxm works. Once you notice tolerance rising it's time to take a break, I would suggest waiting a full week to take anything. Tolerance rises quicker with daily use, try to at least take one day off for every day on.

so should i be taking the dxm everyday for a week and if so how much.

I've yet to actually research whether or not dxm actually lowers tolerance enough to be worth it. That being said if you've got the extra dxm or a few bucks lying around it wouldn't hurt to take ~40mg daily. That's a complete guesstimate but even though it's an active dose you shouldn't even notice the dxm throughout your day.

At the week mark report back, tell us how it went.

i sure will. 6 more shitty days to go.

update i just found out using the opioid conversion thing that 10mg oxycodone (oral) equals about 83mgs codeine (oral) so should i have been taking 3 t3s this whole time instead of 5. i feel that taking 5 t3s (150mgs of codeine) is what raised my tolerance.

Cross tolerance does occur, but not at 100%, which is why you see the calculator take % into account when comparing a relevant dose. It also depends how much stronger the opioid is against the other. In your case, the Codeine will raise your tolerance to Oxy, but not at the same level as taking say the equivalent dose of Oxy (the equivalent of the Codeine) would have. I use this idea and change my opiates to different ones and taper my opiate of choice whilst raising the new opiate dosage. What happens is I still get a high (not as good) and then when I cut out the new opiate and use my old choice opiate at my normal dose again, I get BLITZED again for another few months, rofl.

so far a have been ingesting 45mgs dxm everyday gonna do this until tuesday. hope this works thought i would give an update.

Please give up now while you can.

In my own experience tolerance never returns to baseline for any drug that I've tried, whether it's Benzos, Opiates, MDMA etc etc.. I've heard people talk about Benzo tolerance never returning to baseline but say that Opiate tolerance does. Well for me it didn't.

I hadn't taken any Oxy for over 6 months so I tried some the other day, 120mg gave me an extremely mild buzz, so the next day I tried 160mg mixed with 200mg Phenobarbital and 300mg Temazepam. (For me I could never fully appreciate Opiates without Benzos) Anyway, I was disappointed to say the least.

Btw, please do not try taking what I did as it could kill you.
