Opiate Conversion of Hydromorphone > Average Grade Heroin.

Alright so i've never done heroin but i'm curious..

If you got a gram of some average dope, how many mg's of hydromorphone would it take to achieve the closest effect of a full g of heroin? 24mg? 30? 40? I have no clue and want to figure out which costs more for me. I know pricing isn't allowed so i won't say anything i just want to know this for my own benefit. I know people say heroin is way better so it's probably not the easiest to compare, but i've also heard it's the closest to heroin that there is. Based on that obviously the heroin high with be more intense but i just want to know how many mg's would it take to relate as closely to a g of heroin.

Obviously this question only applies to those who have done both drug more than once.

Use a narcotic dose converter - Heroin IV is 2.2x morphine IV. Orally the dose kinetics are all fucked up. (Heroin is slightly better p.o. but still not great).

Therefore, 30 mg of immediate-release morphine by mouth (15 mg heroin) is similar in analgesic effect to about 4–6 mg of hydromorphone by mouth (requiring extra care during conversion & titration), 10 mg of morphine by injection (5mg heroin), and 1.5 mg of hydromorphone by injection.

That coupled with the fact that dope varies by area (nobody sells pure heroin HCl on the street) means nobody can answer you.

By the way, dosage questions are not "Advanced Drug Discussion" - they are basic drug discussion.

yea noone is advanced is gunna want to answer this, luckily I dont belong in advanced so I can tell you that its alot more than 24 mg of dilly per G of H if what your getting is ANY good at all....the stuff I was getting Id compare about 16 mg to .1, obviously dilly giving a stronger rush but lasting much shorter. So 160 mg per G of H? Depends on who your buying from but id put it somewhere between 70 and 200, thats how much street dope varies (if not by much more, just on average, even from the same guy long term)...

if you had 100% pure heroin, 200-300mg of Hydromorphone would be comprable, but you would need way more than that to match the duration of the high.

HM is about 3x stronger than Heroin mg per mg basis, the half-life of H is 6 hours, for hydromorphone it is like 2. so you would need 3x as much as far as duration is concerned, which would negate any of the positive results such as using less, better rush, etc...
