Opiate Combinations

I know there has been a lot of discussion about potentiating and other opiate combinations so I hope this is at least slightly unique.

I have a bottle of Phenergan w/ codeine (10mg/6.25mg), vicodin 5/500 and hydrocodone/homatropine syrup (5/1.5).

My question is, would it be more beneficial to use some of the prometh syrup and codeine to act as a potentiating instead of the other things I have on hand? I've seen conflicting reports regarding tagamet in that it decreases codeine but increases the effectiveness of hydrocodone. I'm wondering if that is true, and how it would react with soma, CPM, benadryl, etc. I've got some pretty serious pain and have to make the best of what I have for now with what is listed above (all obtained with legal prescriptions FYI).

If I missed anything or there's a better place/another topic for this I apologize and would appreciate some direction.

Soma and Benedryl would increase the effects and get rid of the itch. Combining the Codeine with Hydrocodone would increase the overall opioid effects. I don't know about Tagament decreasing the effects of codeine but it will with the hydrocodone. So I'm not sure about taking that if it really does decrease the effects.

You mean tagamet would decrease the overall affect/length of hydrocodone? It was my understanding that it would INCREASE the length. The only decrease would come from combining with codeine as it decreases the amount converted to morphine

No, I meant I'm not sure if it decreases the effects of codeine but it will increase the effects of the hydrocodone.

Okay good, that confirms what I had previously believed to be true. Do you think it increases the hydrocodone to a worthwhile extent to ignore the effects it would have on codeine?

Basically would I be better off combining codeine, hydrocodone and promethazine WITH or WITHOUT the tagamet/cimetidine

Also, I was wondering what your take is on plugging. Is it possible, neigh, advisable to plug the syrup preparations of hydrocodone or codeine that I have?
