Opiate: 3.5mg's Suboxone [Buprenorphine/Naloxone] IV - are you experienced?

Very interesting & informative post blah. I knew it was only a matter of time until you tried this method of administration. Your conclusion was exactly what I suspected - no initial rush (that sucks), but a very warm feeling in the chest area and a pretty decent nod. I had no idea that bupe could make you nod like this. After using it for maintenance for so long, I figured that was all it was good for, no recreational value at all. But now that I have no opiate tolerance, these pills get me surprisingly high. I usually use about 2mg snorted, which is a decent size dose for me these days. That would be nothing if it was back in the days of shooting dope nonstop. 4 x 8mg suboxone under the tounge hardly kept me from being sick. But today a little less than 2mg injected gave me a very good high. As you said earlier and I would like to express further, injecting anymore than 4mg of this might be enough to activate the naloxone. This is a big pill to be injecting as it is. I'm sure it can't be good for you. Anyway I'd hate to be the one who breaks the safe zone naloxone threshold and gets that instant shit your pants dope sickness, or will that only happen if you have an opiate addiction right before you use these? Also, you only waited 20 hrs. after using that cherry Roxanol and all was fine? I'm hurt that I was not included in your morphine run. Thanks alot.
 
Thanks for being the guinea pig on this one... I've had countelss RL(if people at the clinic count as real people ;) ) people tell me this would work, but been too much of a pussy to try it myself. Actually, I am trying to actually get clean now... the only reason I considered trying it was to prove what would happen to myself and give this place a benchmark. So thanks for taking away my lame ass excuse to go back to the needle again(I mean it... I didn't really want to, but curiosity definitely almost got the better of me a few times). Now that i know it works, I don't feel a need to try it myself.

Funny how you can completely discount what real people tell you about something, but then when some guy on the internet confirms it, it suddenly has a bit of credence. I guess that just shows how strange I really am.

Anyways, thanks for trying it. I knew the naloxone wouldn't be enough to do much if anything, I just wanted someone here to have experience with it.

One question, did you notice that it seemed like maybe the receptors were blocked a little by the narcan until it wore off. You said there was no initial rush and 5-10 min later it started to feel like an opiate. just clarification, did it feel like nothing at all until five or ten minutes, or was there some initial opiatedness(??) that took a few minutes for you to totally feel? Thanks.
 
I felt some sort of rush, like one would feel injecting water [placebo] a generated feeling. Than it gradually built up in strength, granted I am habituated on Suboxone as is so I dont get anything off it and this gave me a slight high. Like bogochina says he is not tolerant and gets pretty high.
 
im a little confused.. did you shoot 4 of the pills... or did u just shoot one?

shot 1/2 so.. 4 mgs of a 8...

no initial rush at all... about a min or 2 in my face felt a little warm... the warmth spread through my body probably after 20 min... then just kinda buzzed a little for a few hours... maybe a higher doses would give a better rec effect... ill give it a shot and report back

Does anybody get a headache after using these, especially iv. It seems if I use anymore than 2mg or so, I get a pretty bad headache. I have been told that headaches are related to the naloxone in the pill. Just wondered if anybody else got these, or any other side effects?
 
I have shot a 2mg suboxone pill before.. I did it because I was feeling really bad withdrawal symptoms and I wanted "instant relief." I got it, the taste was cool and I felt the relief rush through my body... no high, just relief. I swear to god someone could get addicted to opiate withdrawal relief (instant relief), that was half the fun imho - was getting sick and then shooting 3 bags of dope, leaning back - feeling both high and normal.

Naltrexone is known to cause headaches. (i am not talking precipated withdrawl, even long time subxone addicts have told me about it. And i kinda felt it myself) When i dose suboxone, i crush it, put it under my tounge for 10 minutes, the spit out that orange shit. even less nalxone that way (or my placebo). They say naltrexone isn't signifigantly active orally, but its even less active sublingually.
 
Yeah what's up with that? It couldn't be because of content, hell there are reports on here about people using coricidin and duster..
