Opia Kratom Extract Withdrawal

About 2-3 months ago (started the beginning of August), I found myself getting a vivazen shot. Did those for a month, not daily but a couple times a week. Then I moved onto Opia Kratom extract tablets. These are not the 7oh tablets, but 150mg Kratom extract tablets. I did those for about a 2 months. I started only taking 1/2 pill at night. Then started taking 1/2 pill during the middle of the day and 1/2 pill at night. Most recently it’s been 1/2 pill three times a day. I need to stop as withdrawal affects have started to set it when I don’t take any. It’s been about 15 hours since my last dose and I’m struggling. I have the hot sweats and chills, stuffy/runny nose, irritable, and my back really hurts! I don’t have any access to comfort drugs like gabapentin or Xanax, etc. I do have my medical marijuana card. Does anybody have advice on how bad this withdrawal will be and how long it will last? Does anybody have advice on things that could help make the withdrawal a little easier? I got another pack of Opia so I can make a plan and prepare the next couple of days! I can’t let anyone around me know this is going on, so I have to try to cover this up! Any and all help is appreciated. The physical part of withdrawal is what scares me the most!

I've been taking these for the past month, way more than suggested, two to three whole pills a day. I'm not addicted and actually forget to take them sometimes. Even went a whole 24 hours without taking anything and never felt a single withdrawal. They don't give me a buzz, or get me high, either. Maybe that has something to do with it. Do they get you high? I take them for back pain. I was taking so much Advil I was starting to worry about my liver, lol. I did, however, recently find "MIT" which gave me a great buzz. I'm going back to the smoke shop today to ask about them a bit more.

The bad part of the WD will last a day or two then about a week of feeling kinda shitty. You need gabapentin if you can get it, it helps quite a bit.
Thank you for the reply!! OK your comment is giving me. Hope, I can deal with symptoms being bad for one to two days!! I know it will suck, but if that’s my only option, then there’s comfort in knowing it won’t be as long as a normal withdrawal!
As far as getting gabapentin, does this get recorded in some database that gets recorded? I don’t want this on my record at all and I don’t want to go on that database where doctors can see if you have had dependency issues or needed help withdrawing from a substance.

As far as getting gabapentin, how would I go about doing that? I don’t want this on my record at all and I don’t want to go on that database where doctors can see if you have had dependency issues or needed help withdrawing from a substance.
I don't know other than talking to a doctor. Talking about sourcing is against the rules too.

The easiest way is definitely SR17018

Hey @Lostbeebabe just relax and take a deep breath here. You´re going to be alright. We can help you out.

So you´re dealing with Opioid withdrawal. I´m not sure what is in these ¨Opia¨ products. I daresay it is irrelevant, as makers of these kinds of ¨extracts¨ etc of Kratom have been implicated numerous times for including Fentanyl and/or other cheaper, more potent Opioids in their products. I´m not saying your product contains Fentanyl. I am saying that the makers of these products have dubious reputations to begin with.

At any rate, we know youŕ withdrawing from a potent Opioid. This shouldn´t be any different than your garden-variety withdrawal.

Forgive me, my arthirtis is kidckin my ass this morning and my fingers feel like they are made of wood. I´m not feeling like stoppind to correct typoes so just roll with it please.

Your likey looking at 4 days of relatively moderate withdrawal. It sounds like you have not been taking these things for an extended period of time. This is good. You need to take whatever dose you have been taking and we will make a rudimentary taper plan for you based on that.

It is hard for us to know the dosages of this shit, but again, that´s not totally relevant. We are just trying to make you comfortable.

I hear that you don´t have access to our commonly-recommended comfort medications. You have a weed card though. Go and get yourself some very potent Indica products. I´m not sure how you like to consume, but given we are dealing with Opioid withdrawal, there is nothing wrong with completely anesthetizing yourself with a powerful tincture or what have you.

This will be most critical at night. Resting is often the wort part of withdrawal, as our symptoms become more noticeable when our attention is not devoted to thing like work/family. Furthermore, being able to get sleep throughout this period, however little, will have a critical impact on how you feel in the following days. I will say that at least 3-4 hours is essential if you don´t want to completely run out of steam.

If you have any friends or relatives who use drugs, maybe that weird cousin who lives out in the country that everybody stopped talking to after he burned down grandma´s houe in a suspicious fire. Find that cousin and get whatever sedatives/depressants you can finagle. I´m being comical here, but I´m not joking. I was a junkie once. There is wisdom woven within the lines of nonsense,

I understand that I´m a latecomer to this thread. No matter. Anyone in a similar situation can learn.

I would recommend cutting your dose on day one by 25%, then the next day another 25% then two days at that dose, cut another 25% then cut that in half on the consecutive day. Then you need to plan this phase to coincide with a weekend or otherwise a time when you have limited responsibility. You need to absolutely commit wholeheartedly to the plan. For this purpose, I highly recommend getting a friend or loved one involed who can help keep you honest.

Use your Cannanbis to whatever extent you need to to get sleep each night. If your tolerance can handle it, you can use Cannabis during the day too, but not if it is going to interfere with using the Cannabis at night or sleep, as that is when it is most essential to use any medication for comfort.

You need to get through these first 4 days, then you will see some imporovement. You will start to rapidly improve after day 4, but the cravings will be difficult. Again, rhia is why it can be critical to have someone else on board who is familiar with your situation. Anyone with questions, let em fly.
