OPENING YOUR THIRD EYE- Your sixth sense is nothing super-natural, but it is natural

Their is only one of us, time does not really exist...what is most amazing is we live our lives believing we are separate from all that is and that time is real. We are glimpsing reality when we see the future, or the past (if their is no time all that is, is happening now), or reading 'others' minds (their is only one consciousness, you are knowing yourself) Or perhaps, I've just lost my mind!!!! LOLOL, that's what I practice all Ways..[/QUOTE

Interesting. The way I look at time is that it is a method created by man to keep track of the sequence of events.
Given that this sequence is often ever-changing and/or temporary, even the rising and falling of the sun, I see how one could make the argument that time truly is an illusion.

For me "psychic" abilities are simply a fact of life, so the debate over whether or not it's "real" doesn't really matter. My issue is whether or not developing said abilities is really necessary. There was a daoist master that I knew in China who I was able to open up to about the kinds of things I see, and he pointed me to all the old texts that talk about it. At first I was really enamored with the idea of having more capabilities, more power... but his instruction to me, which was lost on me at the time, now rings truer than ever.

What's the point of having these abilities? It's not about this being real or that being unreal -- it's all an illusion. The truth is the truth, and no amount of heightened perception is going to change that. The abilities themselves manifest naturally on the path of spiritual realization in many people, but they are not the main point of the journey. The more layers you add the more delusional (in the spiritual sense) you risk becoming, if you believe what you're seeing. Whatever appears to you, no matter how wonderful or grotesque, is just part of the same illusion. There can be no reason to develop psychic abilities other than to seek more attachments.

All the dimensions above, below, and beside us, all the beings that inhabit them, and all the phenomena that humans have witnessed (and recorded) over the millennia... it's all just part of the same maya. Whatever appears before you, accept it, and let it go. Don't identify with it. Don't engage ego about it. Eventually you'll come to realize that there is no appreciable difference between every day mundane things and "special" phenomena.

The irony here is that people who want the power won't get it, and people who have recognized the ultimate futility of having the power will always have it. People who argue over what is real are attached in some way, which means they've fallen into the trap of identifying.
