Open or Closed Eye Visuals?

Which do you prefer and why?

mostly i think its because i feel like i have more control of my high, or trip...if i start seeing shit while watching tv or something (god forbid while driving) i start to freak out a little

I like open eyed visuals better as long as i'm in a good confident headspace, most of my closed eye visuals on lsd just feel like i'm travelling through an infinite tunnel, can make me dizzy! psilocybin mushrooms closed eye visuals at times have give me that "this feels like i've also ingested poison" quality that some trips have. And I love my mushrooms but they can take the carpet right out from anyone... respect!

open eyed visuals can really be fun when your exploring a colorful festival makes everything seem like it's a different land all together!

closed eye visuals turn into introspection for me pretty regularly

When I'm in the right space, there isn't a lot of difference to be honest. Maybe that's just me?

CEVs. The vividness can't be matched with OEVs in my experience. I've never seen anything more beautiful than what was beyond my eyelids on a 4 hit LSD trip with ~70mg of DMT on top 4 hours in.

Personally i like both equally but it also depends on which substance i took. Some are more visually closed and some open but i would say nothing compares to the oev's i had on my first lsd trip but the first time i did an 8th of shrooms with 2 damn good street quality x pills i had just the same if not better, I actually saw a spinning 3d box that had numerous colors shooting from it with the third eye in the middle that transformed from closed eye to open eye spinning in the air. I had some amazing oev's on DOB as well that i think could possibly beat lsd's oev's.

OEV's are usually more comical and not controllable. CEV's are more like scenes and settings so its pretty interesting. I usually set aside time for both CEV's and OEV's. I doubt I could choose which I like more.

I prefer OEVs when I'm on something that isn't terribly anxiogenic or is even mildly anxiolytic (like 4-HO-MET) but I prefer CEVs in general because I can ignore them if I want to...

Really it all depends on my mood. Sometimes it really sucks to have crazy OEV and CEV stuff going on and you sink into a bad trip... in that case I'd wish I just had OEVs so I could take a klonopin and pass out.
