ive been reading all morning about opana and all i can find is info on snorting and banging is med is there anyone out there that takes it as perscibed im new to this med and would like info on how well it works ive been on endo 10/325 for 2 years and they are changing me to opana 10 today so if anyone is taking this med as perscribed pls let me know how it works for you and if you just want to tell me what a good high it is id rather you didnt reply as i take this med for cronic pain not to get high thnx all
 
superb painkiller with little to no sedative effects taken orally. 10mg orally wont do you much justice though. IME 10mg opana orally = 5mg oxyc orally. Wonder why he's changing you over as the pain killing effects will be similar if not less on opana. Kudos on not trying to get high off your meds. Be careful though...I did the same for a long ass time. Then I got curious. Now life sucks. Id ask the doc why the switch and let him try and explain his reasoning cause I cant see it doing any better than what your currently on.
 
Be really careful if you drink alcohol and take Opana orally. I once read it increases the bioavailability from something like 10% to ~80%. My memory could be off.

Opana=my favorite opiate. Hands down. For both pain killing and recreational abilities. Congrats on being responsible with your opiates.
 
Your post could have been from me. I was just prescribed Opana ER last Wed. and I'm weaning off Oxycontin and taking the Opana ER. It will be totally Opana ER in a few days though. What little time I've had with the drug is that it's more "subtle" than the Oxy family. One other huge thing is that I used to have a real problem getting up in the morning; almost like my head is thick and I can't move (depressed kind of feeling, I don't know if I'm describing this too well). This morning I had to get up considerably earlier than usual and my wife even commented on how "with it" I was at 7:30 in the morning. That part I truly love but as for the pain-killing, I'm not too sure it's up to the task but the jury is still out since it's only been a few days. I'll keep checking back to see if anyone else has any additional input. Good Luck with you Meds!
 
If you WAnt snort 4 more relief see no problem if snort as prescribed to take orally just my 2¢
 
fuck do some ppl not read..THEY ARE NOT TAKING IT TO GET HIGH... but i use oxy way more but i have used opana a couple times i also have horrible chronic pain but i would say that opana is better depending on what type of pain you have i also think it is stronger than oxy for sure..
