Ive been recently perscribed this...40mgs 8xs a day. I know thats high,but i have ahigh tolerance. Was on 6 Oc's.a day 80 mg's.......I am an addict and i know i will crush, and insuff,so I assume this will break the time release? Im a bit worried cuz I have no exp. w/this drug and i hear it;s much stronger than OC (old OC)......Any advice........EXCEPT DONT CRUSH..?

I have the new OC's (the ones labeled OP 20) and I usually crush them up best I can in my mouth.

It's like 4x more potent than OC at least. When I was getting high and an 80 would do the trick, 20mg of opana was more than enough. Just don't overdo it, since you plan on getting high anyway.

Opana is oxymorphone right?

According to the Opioid conversion chart oxymorphone is about as twice as potent (orally) as oxycodone.

Opana is oxymorphone (a drug 10x more potent than morphine) and is a much more potent drug than oxycodone. Oxymorphone's intranasal bioavailability is 40%. What that means is, if you sniff a 10 mg pill - you'll only end up getting about 40% of it (so in this case 4 mg).
