Was wondering how long oxcodone will stay in your system after taking 30 mg 4x a day for the past two days and will be starting opana 40 ' s 2 a day..for the next 2 n half days..will the opana take over any residue that may be left from the oxcodone after the second an a half day..been reading a lot if differant answers..

Not that long. It´s a very short acting opiate.
Is it instant release? Probably not, right?
For safety I´d wait until 72 hours is past.
Welcome to BL!:)

The 30 mg oxycodone is an instant release...yes..Th opana 40 are the ER.. just need the opana to take over without any residue left of the oxycodone.
Thanks Erikmen..your answer was helpful..

And thanks for the welcome.. : ).. I have been an avid reader of bluelight for the last 3 years years..and kinda can get most of my questions answered here...but this is one I could not find..not sure if one drug could or would supersede over another that was taken prior.. so I regustered..thanks again for the welcome. ;)

So I'm assuming the instant release will be out of ur system sooner?

I know that goes with saying but be careful with those meds.
They can be very addicting. And difficult to quit, physically speaking.
