Opana/oxymorphone instant release first time

So, I've been taking hydrocodone for 5 months for chronic pain, 10mg every 4 hours. I was also given opana ER 10mg twice a day. Now they've switched my Norco to opana IR 5mg

I cannot drink on these, so I want to be able to have a lil fun.

I wanna try Insufflating the opana, maybe just a quarter of the 5mg to start? I'm low tolerance.

Maybe I should just take a 5mg ir orally? Doc instructed me to only take 2.5mg orally for breakthrough pain.

Nervous because opana seems to be hardcore as fuckkkkk.
 
Which is probably a good enough reason in itself not to start fucking with this when youve got such a low tolerance.

My understanding is that nasal absorption is a lot higher than oral therefore quite a bit stronger - the conversion table should confirm this.

If youre to insufflate any, i would start with 0.5mg maybe upping it to 0.75mg and VERY SLOWLY and MINIMALLY titrate every 60mins until youre at a comfortable level.
 
good advice from all. Maybe i shouldnt insufflate? I dunno, today i tried 3/4 of a 5mg IR orally, no buzz at all, just pain relief.
 
I took a 5mg orally today, as well as a 10mg ER this am. I can feel pain still and not much of a buzz at all, almost like taking a 5mg Vicodin but a little less. Dafuq?

All the conversion charts basically tell me I should feel like I'm on 15mg hydrocodone, and on 10mg hydrocodone not only did I hardly feel pain but id get a great buzz.
 
opana is terrible if you take it, snort that bitch and watch your world spin, i looooooove my opanas [: my one and only drug of choice!

ooooo hellz yeah sounds fun :) haha. wonder why, so strange to me.

if the BA is 10% orally and 40% insufflated, 5mg oral would be higher than 1mg snorted, but, im willing to bet i feel more snorting .5mg than i do the 5mg oral.
 
i snort 20 or so mg. at a time..soo .5 would be a joke to me. i started out at a high mg and fell in love instantly so im not sure what would happen with that, if you are perscribed 5mg pills i would snort the whole pill. just being honest! youll be fine and youll get a amazing feeling, youll see.
 
I woke up this morning in horrible pain, well, actually all night I was in pain. I tried to swim yesterday for the first time in 6 months (back in the gym!)

Since its testicular pain from chronic epididymitis all that kicking probably wasn't the best idea.

Anyway, I split a 5mg into quarters and then ground it down. Then split it into 3 lines (so yeah. Like .4mg per line)

Snorted one and holy fuck man, tingles throughout whole body, actually kinda freaked me out. I think it's cause it was such a low dose it isn't enough to give blissful euphoria and whatnot. Pain is completely gone. Just insane that .4 thru the nose gives more relief than 5mg orally.

I'm gonna see how the next hour or two goes before trying anymore, this stuff is intensely strong!
 
I find it bizarre that they switched you from hydrocodone to oxymorphone. Wish my doctor would do that!

Be careful with this stuff man. I stayed with some people for awhile who could get 40mg pills. Literally the tiniest line would knock people out. I could do 3-5mg at a time and I'm a junkie so I have like a perma-tolerance. But sounds like you're proceeding with caution so that's good.

I don't know about the rectal BA of oxymorphone but that's another option if it's higher than oral.

yeah i dont know if i will continue to insufflate, it was nice, but im nauseous, not feeling floored by any means but it just seems like a slippery slope. i could see how awesome it would feel to do a larger amount, but i dont really wanna screw with it and OD or something. Ive never experienced something as potent (although LSD and mdma are pretty potent, but in a... less... drug like way i guess lol)

ive taken a pretty healthy amount of a fent push for anesthesia, like 200-300 mcg was what i remember. was awesome! i think i could handle it but i dont know if im ready to play with this stuff :)
 
how long does it last when insufflated? i did a line at 7:30am now its around 10am. wondering if the nausea is from it being "done"
 
You can get six to eight hours out of it, for some people four, it just depends.

Be aware that this drug used in this way is going to cause your opioid tolerance to skyrocket. Keep it up and 10mgs hydro will be like pissing in the ocean compared to insufflated opana :|
 
i also took an oral dose of opana ER 10mg around 6am, so with BA considered, insufflated amount being .4 mg brings that to .16mg active and the 10mg at 10% is 1mg, so a total of 1.16mg in me currently
 
Well I think I'm snapping out of it, nothing really too crazy happened, just got me very panicky and anxious. Wasn't a very pleasant experience - maybe I didn't do enough but because of the crappiness I don't forsee myself trying that again. Wish i had my hydrocodone still :(
 
I made it out lol, but so weird man I did like literally the smallest line, a third of a quarter of a 5mg IR.

Granted I had a 10mg ER taken oral hit its peak probably right at the same time (taken 2 hours prior)
 
Damn, really? I used to hoover an 20ER up each nostril and washed it down with 45mgs oxy, I envy your tolerance! Cherish and guard it well <3
