opana isnt very strong to me

past two times i tried opana it hasnt been very strong to me. i hear about people takin a half of a 40mg and that it is stronger than oxycodone.but when i take it , i dont feel very medicated.and when i did it first few times i did one and a half 40mg pills. so 60mg or 80.my usual oxycodone dose is 60-120mg. i take roxis every once in a while or sometimes everyday for two weeks and then i take a break for while.i just think its weird that my tolerance is already so high that opanas are not very special at all when i take them.i even feel like roxis are better.

from what i've gathered the crushed pill (er's) needs to be left in the nasal cavity for a while to allow decent and effective absorption. the time release mechanism is nothing like an OC where you simply remove the coating and crush it for it to become instant release - it's pretty damn effective as an anti-abuse mechanism.

Do a LOT less at a time; space out your lines at LEAST 10 minutes. It'll allow the lesser amounts of powder to be absorbed.

Edit: So, say instead of 1 huge line, do 3 per pill

its just weird i feel like oxymorphone doesnt really do anything to me but oxycodone works for me.but opanas are supposed to be stronger than oxycodone. its weird

I know they have a weird time-release mechanism, but I've read that -morphone's are potentiated by making a liquid solution of them and insufflating that. I'm not sure how that would work out, but it apparently makes them stronger.

Opana is definitely stronger than oxycodone. a 40mg opana is worth 2-3 roxys for me. different high though, not as ideal to me

I'm glad I don't have this issue, the pink 10mg endos are the shit and have a rush better than Heroin but the high dose ERs get me off proper, just let it sit in your nasal cavities for a hot minute. I feel like 15-20mg of insufflated Opana ER feels like 10mg of the Opana IR with less of a rush.

you do have a tolerance, i am not surprised... stick to roxi if you don't like opana. don't see any HR value in a thread talking about how strong a medication is lol. it's sort of like asking, "why can't i get high off opana?"

You might be sniffing the powder too far back. It's not like oxycodone where the drip is OK because the majority of the substance will be absorbed by the stomach. Oxymorphone (opana) has a terrible, terrible, ~10% BA for oral administration. In other words, the drip is not OK with oxymorphone.

The first time my girlfriend and I picked up opana, I knew about having to sniff the powder slowly and softly so as to keep the powder inside the nose. She didn't know that. I sniffed half a 40 and got wrecked. She sniffed nearly a whole 40 and felt nothing. Thankfully, I figured out what was wrong and steered her in the right direction. Now we're back on par.
