Opana - Is something wrong with me??

Hi, I took 30mg of Opana ER. I split up a 40mg yellow octagon Opana ER pill. I crushed it up like crazy. Snorted the whole thing. Nothin. I feel such a mild opiate feeling it feels like nothing. Should I put some water up my nose. It has been an hour and a half. My normal opiate tolerance is 90mg of Oxycodone instant release in one sitting. Usually 2 times a day. That gets me feeling pretty good. This Opana stuff.. nothing really.. I'm kinda disappointed. Oh well. Any insite would be greatly appreciated.

PS - I've snorted things before.. like coke.. adderall.. etc.. and have had no problems. This is a first. :\
 
If you took it an hour and a half ago, you're not going to feel any more effects. Water up the nose wouldn't help you, in either scenario, since opana is absorbed through the nose.

It's about 2x the strength of oc, so If you normally did 90 of oxy, it's like you only had 60
 
Ah.. that sucks. About how long does it take to kick in. Also.. wouldn't water up the nose help loosen it up a bit? I'm not a railer. Very very very seldomly do I rail stuff. I greatly appreciate your help. Thanks so much!! =)
 
I dont really think water is a good idea, I dont think water should touch them. Best way to use OpanaER is by crushing and grinding the pill dry and inhaling it dry. If you left the coating on the pill that can clog things but water will likely not help things. I leave the cover on at times but I make sure to grind the pill and the coating until its hardly noticeable. If you railed 40mg's of Opana and felt nothing then your tolerance has to be pretty high.
 
Damn. That sucks. I was really craving Oxy and that was all I had. It stopped the withdrawal. Can I take Opana for a few days and free myself of the oxycodone?? I've been taking oxycodone ever day since November 1st. I take 90mg in 1 sitting and I try not to have anymore after that at all. It's gotten to the point where I don't really get anything from it at all. No high really. If any, very slight. So I'm ready to kick this for good. It has started to ruin my relationship with my family and girlfriend My GF and I fight about money. Always asking where it's going. $50 a day for that crap so there's not going to be any psychological withdrawal. Basically by taking my dose day after day after day of the same exact mg, It lost it's magic for a few weeks now and I won't take any higher. I honestly want to be drug free.. I know that sounds stupid as hell, but I need your help huys.
 
Using another opiate such as Opana to free yourself of oxycodone is not going to free yourself from opiate dependence.

This; and using something stronger would only compound the problem.

The best advice I can give is subs.... but be careful ;)
 
If he has good self control and has stayed at the same dose even though it lost it's magic because he doesn't want to get any deeper I think he should try a controlled taper with some benzos to ease the withdrawl before jumping on subs and being on them for years like most people, he wants to be free, not substitute his oxy addiction with a bupe addiction.

OP: PM me if you want help working out a taper plan, I have experience with a few successful tapers while going through pain management for 3+ years now...

Fair enough; but subs helped me leave my H addiction behind better than anything - but that is solely my experience.
 
I dunno, I had BAD tramadol withdrawals, then I got a hold of some hydrocodone and kratom., few days I ran out and still felt sick, got some codiene by the time that was gone. I was all better, now no Opies whatsoever....
 
Don't mix the opana er with water, everyone knows that the pills have a compound that makes them basically turn into jelly when they are crushed and mixed with water.

On the other hand, a trick I read on another site which does work is to crush and COOK the pills before use - the cooking greatly reduces the jelly effect and burns off much of the crap used to try and keep the pills "safe" from abuse.

Basically, I crush the pill into a fine powder, pour it into a large, metal spoon and place it over a low-grade open flame (I use my stove top). Keep mixing the powder while it cooks until it turns brown in color (not just tan, but a solid brown, like brown sugar). Usually takes about 3 mins in my experience over the lowest possible flame I can get the stove to produce. Be careful not to go too far and burn your drugs! I turn the heat off a bit before it's done since the metal spoon retains enough heat to finish the job.

The opana will clump up a bit, so recrush your cooked pill and then snort.

It does make a difference!
 
MUCH BETTER!! I crushed up a 40mg Opana ER just 20 minutes ago. I split it into 6 lines. Railed them all one after another alternating nostril. My mistake before was that after I railed it, I was excessively sniffing in through my nose and it was hitting the back of my throat and going into my stomach. Even 3 minutes after I would still sniff in way too hard and then that jelly shit would come from my nose and hit the back of my throat. This time.. I railed all the lines and lightly inhaled a little in each nostril after that. I let the shit sit there for about 5-10 minutes and I noticed a MASSIVE difference. I actually feel it right now. Nothing crazy, but I feel like I took maybe 100-120mgs of Oxy. My tolerance is way too high by the way. 90mg of Oxy used to get me feelin' reaaaal good for a while. Now it just makes me in a good mood and kinda happy. With this Opana, I have more of a euphoria. I get these bad boys for $10 each for a 40mg pill. I'm guessing I got mad lucky on the price. The person I get them from is in terrible pain, but she doesn't take them. She says they do shit because she's taking them orally.

As for the whole cooking thing.. I don't think I'll be mixing a stove with ma drugs.. lol.. but thank you anyway for the input.. I appreciate it.

Word of warning to anyone reading this about to take it. My opiate tolerance is VERY HIGH. This shit is extremely potent. This 40mg pill of Opana taken by the occasional opiate user will probably kill them if done all at once. Take 5mgs or a really really small piece and then try and wait like 40 minutes to an hour to be on the safe side before taking any more. Remember, you can always take another dose.. you can't un-dose. Keep that in mind and be SAFE!!

More people should follow that lead & make sure to be clear if there posting things that could potentially harm others.
Though from my experience I would say 2.5mg is a better starting point for someone with no tolerance.
Well personally I feel that if you don't have tolerance don't fuck with Opana... but I digress.
I've seen people with no tolerance get sick as fuck off 5mg so again that re-iterates the point it's strong stuff.

If you are getting 40mg pills for $10 a piece and still want to quit your opiate habit then I would suggest stockpiling a lot of the opana while you can get them so cheap. You said earlier that your oxy habit was costing you $50 a day. Take that $50 and use it to get a lot of Opana pills and then work with Korrupt or someone to create a taper plan. That seems like the most cost efficient way to taper down.

Damn dude...$10 for a 40mg...get it while it's hot!!
 
yo i got a couple of these 10mg bad boys and my tolerance is prolly 4 10mg norcos make me feel good
the first time i popped an opana and nothing, then i took the coating off with a razor crushed it up and sniffed it in two lines and got sick as fuck.
Now i wiped the coating off with a wet cloth and have been bumping like 2.5mg lines, and it doesn't seem to work, i still got about 5mg left but did i fuck it up by using water to get off the coating?

I will never let water touch my opana, they do not go together. If you wet the pill to get the coating off you need to sit around for hours and hours before crushing it so it can dry, otherwise it smashs together into a mess and sucks to rail. Shave the coating off and crush it. I will even leave the coating on if Im in a hurry. Those are the only ways to get opana crushed into a fine powder.

Even if you let the pill dry after wetting it to get the coating off they still wont crush into as fine a powder when left dry.
