OPANA ER 40 mg

So a friend of mine dropped his script of Opana 40 mg in a puddle, we grabbed them up pretty quick but they did get wet, they are slightly swollen but have dried, I was wondering if anyone out there knows what this would do to the effectiveness of the pill. Any info will help, thank you!
 
If they are still in pill-form and not mush, hopefully they will be okay, but I'd be pretty concerned about ingesting random puddle-water with my pills.. can your friend take them back to the doctors (to prove what happened) and ask for another script? That might be the safest bet.
 
^yeah. if it is really his script, i would definitely take those back to the pharmacy. as long as your friend can afford it.

edit:
i bet you two did not have them in a pharm bottle. or maybe it was open? i accidentally went swimming with my benzo script in my pocket once. just a quick dip. and they stayed 100% dry. sorry you guys did not have such luck.

We go to school together and he is from out of state so his parents send them to him in the mail, he was opening the bottle to make sure they were all there and boom, he dropped them and the bottle filled up pretty wuickly with water, we are both users and just snorted one each, they were hard to shave out, the high is noticeable but it does seem significantly less...
 
Haha, yes it is, yes it is... but thank you for the input, if anyone else out there knows what it does to the Chemical makeup of the pill, if anything, please let me know.
 
Well, I don't know anything about the specifics of Opana pills I'm afraid, but oxymorphone is very soluble in water, so some of it could have dissolved out..
 
I mean the coating is there to protect it some. But if it was sitting in the puddle absorbing the moisture then you might have a small problem. I dropped mine in a sink after I took the coating off and it was perfectly fine. I grinded it up and the powder was very fine.
 
opana ER is such a tough drug thats time released a highly doubt the water that hit it did anything do fuck the pills up maybe wore off some of the coating lol
 
Yea the coating was slightly worn and it was significantly harder to shave out, but all in all I think they are fine, still kind of erks me though, lol, he owed me like four and now IVe got these puddle pills lol
