Here's my question:
I've had substance abuse starting around April 2010 w/ Vicodin 7.5s which over the course of 9 months became Oxycodone where my tolerance was around 20mg (maybe even less) and I've been clean since late December or early January with a few slip-ups.
Then I did something completely stupid because I could no longer get Oxys or Vicodin so let's just say I found a bottle of Opana IR 5mg. For about 2 weeks, I was snorting them. I started off at 5mg a day. My last dosage was 40mg. When I finally came to my senses and TRULY realized I was going to OD (I also take 5mg, tapering 1mg every 2 weeks and SNRIs), I stopped. Two days ago. I did not run out, I just knew my I was screwing my life up. I remember waking up the next day in complete fear and the beginnings of detox withdrawal. Day number two, same thing. It was mainly anxiety and depression rather than physical symptoms. I knew this is what I wanted to be last use of opiates but opiates were the only 'anti-depressant' that made me feel like a normal person so I was mainly fearing that those AMAZING nights when I snorted the Opana, I'd never had back. The next day, I found 15mg of oxycodone and took it. I don't remember it helping or not but I forced myself to sleep with some wicked nightmares.
Today sucked. I slept a lot. There's a lot of anxiety, major depression, muscle weakness, oddly enough my bowels haven't been bothering me yet. The thing is it doesn't feel like the first time I cold turkey detoxed Vicodin and Oxys. It feels LESS severe and I know they say Opana has horrible withdrawal. I'm probably speaking way too soon but I was wondering if two weeks of a potent opiate would really count as a binge, or a "semi-binge".
I just wanted to add the reason I'm not in rehab is because I've called many different clinics and said my dosage of Klonopin was too high and they would have to do a rapid detox at their center. No way. That's barbaric. I also didn't want to be put on suboxone. I asked my doctor for Clonodine a while back AFTER I detoxed the vicodin but he said it didn't make sense.
Please, no judgments. I'm trying to get some insight/knowledge so I know what I'm potentially going to be dealing with. My biggest fear is always having that feeling of Opana on my mind and not having a balanced life.

'd right now. I'm actually tapering benzos now, while I'm CTing opiates. People may ask what the hell is wrong with me. I dunno.
