Opioids opana and silicosis

I searched and i kno the ER tablets have silica which can cause silicosis which is bad.


BUT do the instant release IR tablets like say a pink 10mg IR ALSO have silica.

I really need to kno cause i want to snort but not hurt ma self.

I'd like to hear about this. What exactly is the risk running with the silicosis and Opana? Isn't all 'Opana' Oxymorphone ER and only Numorphan or generic the IR of oxymorphone?

No, there is no silicified microcrystaline cellulose in the IR's. Check out the OD Directory and look up the thread that is "Inactive Ingredients and Pill Mass thread"

The IR's are "safe" to snort, as much as a pill can be.

No, the Opana IR tablets doesn't have that specific inactive ingredient.

Opana IR

Inactive Ingredients: lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, and pregelatinized starch.
The 5 mg tablets contain FD&C blue #2 aluminum lake.
The 10 mg tablets contain D&C red #30 aluminum lake.
