i know this has been asking a billion times already.... but i dont have the time to look it up right now. i do opanas everyday and today i was out so i took 2 mg of a suboxone. i never take suboxone otherwise. anyways, i ended up coming across some more opanas and was wondering do i really have to wait 24 hrs to feel the effects of the opana? because it was only 2 mg of suboxone. what if i only wait 8 hrs...would that be long enough?

you have to wait at LEAST 24 hours, preferably 48 - 72 for the suboxone to be completely out of your system. sure, go ahead and blast up your opana after 8 hours if you want, if you have large quantities and oxymorphone is nothing special to you, but youll barely feel it

What he said. I had to do over 160mg of opana to feel it 18 hours after suboxone... I do not reccomend that dose to anyone in the spirit of harm reduction.

what? If you only took 2 mg's, there is a good chance you will feel it. Just don't dose any higher if you can't feel it, because that will cause additional respiratory depression without making you feel, uh, higher.

I frequently take Dilaudid on top of Suboxone. I was prescribed both for a bit as part of pain management. Theory being that Suboxone occupies receptors, but a low dose only occupies some receptors, so if you fill the rest up with a full agonist, you get smoother, more continuous, more complete analgesia.

Anyways. As long as you don't take extra.

I have been on 1mg IV bupe and been able to shoot heroin 12 hours later and feel the effects
But you need a lot more than your usual dose, and fare the risk of OD so be careful

well i did a little bit of the opana and i felt it....just not as much as if i hadnt taken the sub. so i'll wait a decent amount of time to do more so i dont waste it. thanx guys :)
