Ok ive been prescribed Opana Er for 4 years ,yes i need them,but im also an addict,i was addicted to methadone but got clean in 1-07 well July 07 is when i got my SCI.....so they put me on Opana 20 then 30 then 40's i LOVED them after learning to shave them down with hose clamp....i would do one with 3 xanax bars and nod off it was very new but the best euphoria i had ever had...then last march they came out with the newly formulated ones,,i didnt mess with them as there were still stop signs on the streets so for a small loss id trade just to get the stop signs,,,then this past may 2012 i ended up in a nursing home..well ive been getting the stop signs well yest they gave me the ones that came out last march round with E on one side 40 on other i tried to shave did NOT work...i finally gave in chewed up 3 = 90 mg opana and i feel NOTHING!!!! Im actually still having withdraw symptoms,,,im guessing when they recalled last year they use them (stop signs) for nursing homes ??? Does ANYONE know why i would be getting the stop signs for the last 6 mos now the JUNKY ones???? Is there a way around this mess? Is there a generic out there that doesnt turn into glue??? Im so upset,,and dont know what to say to Dr,or nurses but im deff miserable..thanks for any input.....
