OP 60 Cut In Quarters?

I was given a (red) OP 60. I know it's time release but can I cut it in quarters with a pill splitter and take a quarter safely and feel the effects. I've done alot of research some say yes some say no..HELP!

Some of the timed release pills can be difficult to cut depending on the formulation but it can be done. Have you any experience with oxycodone? If so, a quarter of a tablet should be okay for you to take safely.

Yes I've taken oxycodone before. I've had a previous knee injury and in the past took oxycodone 20mg for it. My knee has been giving me a fit and a friend gave me a OP 60 and told me to split it and take a quarter I've read alot and was unsure.

If it’s for true pain relief, you may get some help from that. Don’t expect much euphoria though.

Honestly I would do half today then half tomorrow. Hopefully your knee will have healed up by then.
