Let me just start by saying that Fentanyl sucks.

I probably almost died last night, because I'm an idiot.

Moral of the story: Don't eat an entire 7.5mg fentanyl patch in one big, sloppy lick in an attempt to escape opiate withdrawal. It will make you do stupid shit for a few minutes and then make you pass out with your head hanging at a highly uncomfortable angle, and then probably almost kill you... A high opiate tolerance means NOTHING when it comes to this shit.

It really means nothing to be a heavy user of anything and go up against a patch. Been there. Holy shit. I now have an abstinence rule or a 2/10 min rule. 2/10= chew slowly and take out at exactly 2 min or until tongue goes numb, whichever first. Then wait ten min, feel it out, rinse and repeat. A true killer. My only visit to the hospital. Bad withdrawals too. Ya know what, mouth watering, fuck abstinence. Never learn...
