Benzos ooopppps I did it again!

So I used to be on Xanax, high dose, 10 mg per dose type shit, did a terrible cold turkey withdrawal, and now years later am again hooked on Xanax and clonazepam
(and oxazepam lorazepam temazepam, u get the picture) so Ive conned the docs into scripts and am going to bite the bullet and go into emergency tonight in full on benzo withdrawal.....They should help me right....I called Ontario telehealth and the nurse I spoke with said a cold turkey withdrawal from my 10+ mg daily dose of clonaz or alpraz could be life threatening.

Im also looking for any experience on what helps for u guys specifically, like gapapentin,z-drugs,potent valerian or kava extracts....ive done reading but like I said, I wanted to ask here where the real experts are.

Yes go to the hospital we live in Canada a great place to be. I've gone into the E.R. in severe opiate withdrawal they gave me a shot of morphine and i came out with a script for oxycodone and pamphlets for rehabs and detox centres they were really nice they didn't treat me like a junkie they know people make mistakes.
Coming off that high a dose of benzos is dangerous you could seize up and die and they won't let that happen to you in the E.R. that's for sure benzos are serious the chance you could die is greater than almost any other drug you withdraw from.

DO NOT GO COLD TURKEY! seriously man, if you're on 10 mg of alprazolam + other benzos don't do it. you could die and I'm sure you know it.
a slow taper would be the best, but wait until someone more informed and experienced than me chimes in
 
There's no natural ingredients that really help all that much mabye lemon balm extract or sumthibg but that is mild. I've heard good things about gabapentin for the withdrawal but some people say it doesn't work cause their so hooked on benzos it doesn't do shit so it really depends on your body. Mabye you get something prescribed like that in the E.R. too if you want to detox but if you want to detox I recommend going to an actual detox facility to be monitored 24/7 and to be kept as comfortable as possible. In Canada we don't have to pay for detox.
 
If you do not admit yourself to a hospital within 24 hours of your last dose, you are putting yourself at risk for death and severe seizures that even if you were lucky enough to have paramedics arrive on scene, they would not know how dependent you are and their normal doses of IV lorazepam/midazolam will not be enough to revive you and they might have to resort to desperate measures like phenobarbital if you do not go to the hospital and tell them how dependent you are and that you need to be admitted to the hospital immediately. I don't know how it is in CA but in the USA, when you walk into the ER with benzodiazepine withdrawal you're given #1 priority, in the same category as those who are there with cardiac or respiratory failure, it is by every definition a critical medical emergency that they will need TIME to figure out how to keep you from having seizures.
