Hey dude, this is like, sourcing adjacent and asking for legal advice basically, and kind of a no-go as far as what we discuss here on the forum.
I'm going to close the thread, but I will say, you take much more risk by doing anything internationally or dealing with customs on any level. I have gotten a love letter personally, several years ago, yeah, and I've only ever had any kind of issues when messing with customs. It introduces a huge amount of potential complications, as well as paranoia to even have to deal with.
It's really not worth it. Even if the price is better, or whatever your motivation is for seeking overseas, I would just do everything I could to go domestic.
