I'm asking the fucking questions!
Just been wondering wether it would be a good idea for members of the site to have an online approved list of sources in their settings page or something for the sake of harm reduction.
I say this because of the number of fake vendors selling the wrong product, which could be detrimental to ones health e.g getting a substance that is active at 15mg when you think your getting something that's active at 100mg+.

I know theirs probably reasons for this not happening, and I would like to know why,
I'm not challanging rules, this is mainly out of curiosity, the site may even be able to get sponsorships or the like.
Just make it so that you can't see the vendors names to something like 250+ posts or something.
Just a suggestion :)

Rules have been established to protect Bluelight and its members against abuse. Use of Bluelight for any purpose that is unlawful, or in any manner which could impair the operation of this site or any other party's use or enjoyment of this site, is strictly prohibited. Specifically, you may not:

1. use Bluelight in any way, shape or form for unlawful purposes, including, without limitation: attempting to solicit or obtain contraband substances or substances of a quasi-legal status; or information on how to do so; posting or exchanging any information on ongoing or future criminal activity, or any information which can be construed as discussing such activity; actively encouraging others to engage in criminal activities;
as tripman says, no sourcing at bluelight.

Any site that helps people safely source drugs will shortly get shut down (or at least ostracized for distribution). BL's mission is to help people take drugs as safely as possible and become a legitimitly recognized body for doing so. There are lots of people here who agree with you about sourcing, however that isn't BL's goal and in the fight against the war on drugs Bl plays a different part.

This has also been discussed several times. I'm sure a quick search of this forum alone would yield plenty of results that give you more of an answer for why we dont do that. :)

I think that felix put it best.

To add to that, if this were allowed, who would compile such a list? Once a list was made, how would allegations of rip-offs or inferior product be handled?
There is no way to ensure that a company with good products one day will have good products the next. Furthermore, Bluelight operates on the premise that an individual already has a drug in their possession that they are going to consume, so information is made available to them to provide insight into the safest ways to consume said drugs. Giving anybody a list of sources goes against what this site stands for.

If anything, maybe a "Suspected scammers" topic would be okay, with a 250+ post requirement or something just so you don't get competitor vendors coming on and badmouthing others.. But really, on the whole, most of these ideas, while they sound good on paper - would lead to more harm than good unfortunately :(

It's not up to BL to tell you what you have if you've received the wrong product from someone. There are ways to test.

^ Yea. Bluelight isn't going to put their "stamp of approval" on a product that they have not tested, so it is up to each person to use a kit to test their drugs. Who is to say that a vendor won't flip the script one day and start selling inferior quality drugs, or mislabel a batch and accidentally send a person the wrong drug?

any website that attempts to:

ends up full of:

seriously man, this is so far from our mission, I don't know where to even start.

hell will freeze over before sources of drugs are permitted on Bluelight, in any way, shape or form.

.... but how do you really feel?

Yeah I suppose you guys are all right, is it possible to have a suspected scammers thing like someone above said?
And with regards to testing drugs, how can I test new drugs such as mxe? There is no raegent for this surely, as its only new?

Alas, I understand better now the reasons for sourcing rules, I just don't want to be ripped off lol

^any post that has any mention of online vendors should be reported...even the above post.

NO SOURCING PERIOD!!! NO MENTION OF SITES THAT ARE TRUSTED SOURCES!! ECT!!!
