its not a stereotype that IV users have higher rates of hiv/hep c, its based upon statistics. the point is that IV is as much of a red flag as "we want bareback" is on gaydar. the moment i see that shit i think statistically and say to myself- too risky. even people who put up that safer sex "needs discussion" i view as "i sometimes bareback, oops". discussion is meaningless as someone could have had a chat with someone else, barebacked, lies were told and now they have hiv and dont know it and are willing to tell you that they dont have hiv as far as they know. its bullshit

the reality is that what someone puts up on the net is only the tip of the iceberg with regards to their behaviour and its a complex game of trying to read between the lines, which annoyingly you don't have to in real life as you can ask a question and gauge a reaction.

I have no idea what your talking about? If I choose to IV drugs with a clean kit then it is as safe(sex related disease terms wise ) as flicking myself off to Trisha (or any other solo sex act or experience). When a person asks for bareback sex they know the risks and are willing to accept them! Fucking massive difference IMHO !

well aren't you just a charmer. way to continue to stereotype and insult someone with no grounds of basis whatsoever.
 
yes one off IV use is different in situation to the behaviour pattern of a daily intravenous drug user. IV can be done aseptically, but if you're spiking your veins thrice daily the risks go up as well as the tendency for repetitive drug behaviours to become sloppy and compulsive i.e. snorting coke with the same note between different people over the course of an evening which is just as dodgy. one thing about drug users who are addicted is they tend to associate together. this is where the whole needle sharing situations arise from.

thing is certain groups of people are at high risk and in life when you hear certain phrases alarm bells will ring especially if its within the context of trying to find a fuck buddy. which was what the original question was about although IV wasn't mentioned.

if i meet up with someone for sex i am sometimes stoned or high on another drug but for me the main thing is that i am not wasted on said drug. if its not obvious to a new hookup that i have just had a pipe of hash then i am clearly with it enough for it not be needed within the discussion.

OP- it would help if you explained which drug you want to use in your sexcapades

these days i'm all about drugs i can feel and get a body high off while its not even obvious to the outside world that i am under any influence at all. apart from when i get pissed with my friends- aint nobody able to disguise drunk

Let's get back on topic! Everyone has their own opinion of IV use - how about discussing that in one of the other forums :). Let's keep back to the subject at hand - how to find someone online that is drug-friendly!
