Some words on top of words,
It’s an onion,
And the people leading cannot get past the first layer.
They look at it and say,
That it brings tears to the eyes,
But this is merely stating the obvious; a child could tell us more.
And with uneducated honesty,
Of how it burns and smells yuck,
Or how the taste is baaaad and they won’t eat it, even to get dessert.
At the end of it all,
We have to remember,
An onion is just an onion and we don’t need people to remind us.
